I seem unable to find any place to enable location for a specific site. I find a place that says a site has asked for my location but nothing ever shows up. There seems to be no place to add an exception for this ot to turn on location.

When I search for this problem all the results are years out of date because old info seems to never be purged from this forum leaving old useless help.

HOW DO I TURN ON LOCATION for specific web sites such as streaming services which will not function without or should I use a different browser?

Hello,

I have two mac laptops, each have Firefox (FF) installed on them. For Laptop A I am logged into my Firefox account so FF can sync with my iPhone. For Laptop B I am not logged into my FF account. Both laptops, however, are logged into my Apple ID account.

When I am working on both machines at the same time I will get a second FF icon in the Docks of both machines. Clicking on Laptop A's secondary's FF icon will result in the webpage that is open on Laptop B appearing in Laptop A's instance FF.

How is this happening? Is the information being passed through my Apple account?

Can I disable this feature?

Thanks so much.

I have been blaming this on Apple, thinking they don't want to get bad news, but if I go to the same site on my Linux machine the "I have this question/problem too" buttons work every time along with the "Helpful" one that also fails to do anything in the Windows version. Just thought someone should know.

Hello... EVERY time I try to sign into my Yahoo email, I have to go through hoops to actually get there. When I click the box that says ...never ask on this device again, your system ignores it. This "Added Security" is not helpful. nor is it adding any security to anything. All you are doing is making me look for other web browsers. Google Chrome does not do this. Safari does not do this. Opera does not do this. I do not need to be contacted via text message, OR ANY OTHER WAY, to gain access to MY email account. Stop holding me hostage!!

Please tell me how to get rid of this absolutely horrible "feature."

Hi. I've been having this problem with my iMac for sometime, but now it's affecting my Macbook Pro, as well. Both machines are 2015, running OS 10.15.7.

They have problems loading webfonts (I get the annoying question marks). I tried creating a new test user, and the issue persisted. Any ideas on what I should do?

Thanks!

The issue is for example this URL https://www47.myfantasyleague.com/2022/home/15387#0

The site loads without css coding and it looks like the attached image. WHITE and ugly...

It never used to be this way, and when i go into private mode, the site loads fine.

Anyone got any ideals what is going on?

I can't use pdf to printout my credit card statements. This has happened on different banks. Finally, I gave up & went over to Chrome & had no problems. Please fix it. Another issue about pdf, it used to pop up on another page so I can view it right away when I clicked on open or whatever it was . But now, it disappears in a file. I miss the old way. Please fix it. Thank you. Sincerely, Melody

This seems strange as I have never had this prolem until today. ps I'm not particularly computer savvy so you'd have to lead me by the hand!

I recently updated Firefox to v103.0 and noticed that several of my useful add-ons were removed; these were Ghostery, AdBlocker, and Highlight or Hide Search Engine Results. This wouldn't be so bad except each of these add-ons have a list of domains that are used by the add-on (mostly whitelists) and I had to re-enter all this configuration information again. Fortunately, I have the same add-ons running on a chromium browser so was able to spend the 15-20 minutes re-entering data.

Recently Firefox lost my passwords (a number of times) which precipitated me using a 3rd party password manager (which was probably a good idea anyway). Consequently I don't hold this against Firefox.  :-)

But this is crazy that add-ons I have to "configure" get removed by Firefox on an update, so I'm thinking I did something wrong (although the update occurred like it always does - I think). Sheesh...what else is going to happen next? Sigh...

I have noticed this last week that when I sign out of Paypal.com that the site tries to redirect me to something called loanbuilder.com, which I have never heard of, especially since Paypal itself is capable of granting loans to its customers. It isn't a constant thing, but it has happened more than once, so I doubt it's a coincidence. I have no clue what the latter site is. Luckily I have Noscript running so it prevents the site from doing anything, but I have no clue why Paypal.com would even be doing that in the first place. I have no idea if this is something anyone else is running into either.

I have not loaded any new apps or web extensions for that matter, and as such I doubt it's on my end, as my machine checks out fine on my antivirus and antimalware programs. I also haven't seen this kind of behavior anywhere else either, so I don't understand what's going on. Can anyone explain this and help prevent it from reoccurring?

Thanks in advance

Ebay labels have worked fine for 19 years, but for the past 10 days labels being generated still look ok . . . although slightly different . . . and are no longer scanable at the post office. Ebay has been unable to fix the problem so I'm wondering if it might be from my end? These "new" labels have what appear to be "pieces" of a QR code in 3 places.

I recently viewed aa.com in Firefox. Was having trouble with linked pages and switched to Safari. Not only did the linked pages work in Safari, but there was a difference in the homepage, as well. Why would this happen? Not sure whether to switch back, because of inconsistency of sites working well in Firefox.
