Firefox will not start without crashing. I have tried safe mode, new profile, and followed the instructions at http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Firefox+crashes+when+you+open+it

I am not sure what to do next.

When Firefox loads certain pages like Yahoo, Facebook and Youtube, Firefox closes and I get a message of "Firefox has stopped running." or something like that.

As soon as I upgraded to 3.6.7, the pages I develop that contain tags began crashing on load every time. If I comment out the tags, things work again. I'm wondering if this isn't part of the cause behind many of the 3.6.7 crash reports.

Included are all my crash IDs submitted to date - all are about the above problem.

An example of the tag contents are below. Unfortunately I cannot provide a pointer to a page, but creating a simple page with just the tag pointing to any audio WAV file may suffice.

Yesterday, some of my addons updated (I can't remember which). Everything was fine until about an hour ago firefox segfaulted (with three windows and ~90 tabs it does this occasionally).

Now, firefox segfaults between 10 seconds and 1 minute after starting to load. Even with no restored session - just the moz homepage as the single tab, even in safemode.

I'm using firefox 3.6.3 on an AMD-64 machine running Kubuntu Jaunty (9.04) KDE3 version.

Troubleshooting information

I don't know how to find all but includes past modern theme, googlebar, en.gb dictionary (recently installed), session manager, tab mix plus, character identifier, flash and realplayer plugins, super drag and go (I think), add bookmark here (possibly)

plug in container constantly crashes as if it's malware ! Upgradding to latest version s of firefox aare sucky . I have a been a great user and advocate for firefox for many years but lately all i get are crashes .If someone can't fix this I'd rather not use the damn plug ins because I need my browser to work not crash! I mean it's sonstantly friggin crashing . ps I don't like that my firefox automatically updates to tnew versions filled with bugs and holes and other inconveniences

Hello Firefox has become ingérable.Soit is not open windows, or you can not close them, or all windows are locked or not firefox loads more etc. .. It has become a real real problem and if things do s 'I'll have to arrange not abandon it, because it's really hellish. What can I do to solve these problems because my patience is wearing thin. since I've updated my firefox to 3.6.4 (the most recent) any atempt at accessing a flash game or similar application that uses flash (such as youtube videos) will cause firefox to freeze, I disable it through task manager and get the error that 'Firefox is no longer responding' and occasionally get the error 'plugin manager has stopped responding', all of the necesary plugins are up to date, I've checked using firefox's own site at 'http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/' any solutions that work will be greatly appreciated, although it seems mozilla have killed off firefox for now with the recent update

I have upgrade firefox 3.6.3 to 3.6.4 but after restarting it doesn't open, it tells "not a valid 32 application" on server 2008 system.

I have been using firefox for 9-10 years now and never had a crashing problem until now. I always kept it updated I'm usually on my yahoo email occasionally on face book but that occasionally and rare.

firefox crashes upon starting, i think because its trying to restore tabs, but it doesnt even get far enough for me to say dont restore the tabs before it crashes. is there a way to make firefox start up without restoring the tabs? i cant get the crash id or troubelshooting information bc firefox wont stay open long enough to do so.

Was browsing websites yesterday when a .pdf document was opened, Firefox hung for a few seconds, then crashed, went to open it up again but it just wouldn't startup, no window appears and then I checked processes. Once clicked it appears for i'd say no more than two seconds and then dissapears from the list.
