I am using an older MacBook Pro running Mojave 10.14.6, for which the latest Firefox is 115.12.0ser (64-bit). It has always been working like a champ, but a few weeks ago, individual YouTube video pages look very odd. Usually the related recommended videos are along the right edge in one row, and below the default video window is the title, description, and then the comments.

The problem I have is that these two components became transposed, and if the video is displayed as full screen, the page can be pushed upwards to show the title etc got squashed below the video window, with the recommended videos still in a grid below it. I hope the included pictures are sufficient to illustrate the issue.

Another computer, an iMac running El Capitan 10.11.6, and Firefox 78.15.0ser owned by a family member, does not show this odd phenomenon. I must say I am quite intrigued by this, and would greatly appreciate any help my fellow members can offer.

I have an issue that's been annoying the crap out of me and I haven't been able to find a solution. I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

I want to drag an image from one tab into the upload field in another tab. This works fine in other browsers, but not in Firefox.

For example, I'm posting an item on Craigslist. I have pictures on the item in Google Photos. I would like to drag the image from the tab showing Google Photos to the upload field in my Craigslist post, but when I do, nothing happens.

I get the same behavior regardless of what web page I'm dragging the image from or what website I'm trying to upload to.

I have been using [edited] @comcast.net as user name for Firefox account. I want to delete that email because I'm leaving comcast ASAP. I read instruction that say add a new email name as a secondary account and then delete the primary one above. I entered [edited[ @gmail.com. I got a message that said that account already exists. Since I didn't know that or remember any password for it, I entered [edited] @gmail.com and said "forgot password." I changed it Now Firefox won't let me in using the [edited] @gmail.com account. Would appreciate any help you can offer.

I am recently getting messages from FireFox on the right hand side of my screen. See uploaded image.

The information is totally useless and interrupts my work.

How can I get rid of this junk.

If I can't, then after many years of Firefox, I switch to another browser as my default.

Downloaded an update a few days ago on my W11 OS and FF stopped loading pages Office Depot, Expedia, Amazon it was off and on would show up when it first loaded then when the news pages loaded it would disappear. Tried to use Refresh but it cut off my access to the web message: Secure connection failed...error connection...PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR. Tried restart with add ons disabled...nothing, tried restart normally...nothing. Any help in this would be appreciated thanks.

When I search for a Hebrew-language video on Firefox the resulting link text overlaps with the English text “Translate this page” for all YouTube videos. I don’t want any page translated and my Firefox Translation settings include no languages. The overlap only occurs on YouTube video links. How can I get rid of the “Translate this page” text? When I rollover it this statement comes up: Browser is under remote control reason (Dev Tools) All of the address bar is inpink. For two days will tab crash for TikTok. For years, will not allow access to certain sites and no contest entries for the last few months. Worked before. No phone help and to download the browser doesn't work. I was upset as won't load TIktok and I NEED IT as use it daily. Please fix it ASAP!! I wasted time contacting Monzilla, as was only link for Firefox. They told me no help wasted today.

Firefox is my favourite browser so I prefer using it in all my online activities. When I go to Adobe Firefly though, I consistently get a warning that this browser is not compatible and they suggest using Chrome, Safari or the latest version of Firefox !!! I am using the latest version available, 127.0.2 but Adobe does not detect it correctly. I have to switch to Chrome, that I'm not very fond of. I saw that a similar issue was posted 10 months ago but it's now archived and I can't even include a link to it here :( So, I hope this comment helps in case others have the same problem. I also hope Mozilla can fix the bug or whatever gets in the way. Lenovo laptop - Windows 10 updated Thanks!

No videos on any platform will play when I try to open them in Firefox. They are forever stuck on the thumbnail image of the video, and nothing happens when I hit play. I've had this happen a couple times and was able to resolve before by installing updates and uninstalling my Mozilla VPN, but this time nothing has worked. I've tried pretty much every solution I could find online:

  • Updating Firefox
  • Updating my computer
  • Running in Incognito
  • Running in troubleshooting mode
  • Allowing autoplay
  • Disabling hardware acceleration
  • Disabling addons
  • Clearing cache and data
  • Enabling/disabling DRM content
  • Installing Windows Media Pack

I'm running Windows 10, and videos seem to work fine in Edge, if that makes any difference.

Hello, I Signed into and began using a New Firefox ACCOUNT Yesterday.Today,I found that I had forgotten that I formerly had a Mozilla account which is apparently still ACTIVE from 10/14/2021. I'm confused as to WHY it's called MOZILLA... Is it called Firefox or Mozilla for this Browser... and I don't want two Accounts... so I need to eliminate one. My iMac is Auto inserting My Password and I'm not familiar yet with whatever Browser I have, to locate a way to see the Password it signed me in on... ? the one I created yesterday... or the one that was created in 2021... So.. please tell me what the Browser is called today... Firefox or Mozilla... or Mozilla Firefox... ??? and I'll begin AGAIN... Hi, I have been having this issue for a while. The search suggestions in the address bar are missing. I mean that the entire drop-down box never shows up. There are no search engine suggestions. There are no history based or bookmarks based suggestions.

The search suggestions is ticked in the settings. And I also disabled hardware acceleration.

Steps I took to troubleshoot: 1. Refreshed Firefox through troubleshoot mode. 2. Restarted firefox in add-ons disabled mode. 3. Tried creating new profile. 4. Tried using Firefox nightly and Dev builds. 5. Got fed up. Switched to Floorp. 6. I also tried a bunch of about:config modifications, that were suggested in earlier such support posts. None to any avail. 7. Tried it on an entirely different windows. And again, the minute I log in, the search suggestions are gone.

This is when I realized, the issue was popping up whenever I log in using my mozilla account. I tried any firefox alternative without logging in and the search suggestions work. The minute I log in with firefox account/mozilla account. The search suggestions stop. This has to be something due to sync is what I guessed. And I stopped sync. And reinstalled. Then the issue resolved. But the minute I log in it reverts back. And no search suggestions.

The search suggestions do not work on any windows based system. I checked my android device and suggestions are working. Sadly, I do not have access to any other platform.

So at this point I was very much frustrated. So someone please help me out. I will give whatever logs you need. But fix this. I need search suggestions. At least bookmarks and history. I believe it to be a core part of the experience.

Not even recently searched are in suggestions. That drop-down box itself is missing.
