Hello, I Signed into and began using a New Firefox ACCOUNT Yesterday.Today,I found that I had forgotten that I formerly had a Mozilla account which is apparently still ACTIVE from 10/14/2021. I'm confused as to WHY it's called MOZILLA... Is it called Firefox or Mozilla for this Browser... and I don't want two Accounts... so I need to eliminate one. My iMac is Auto inserting My Password and I'm not familiar yet with whatever Browser I have, to locate a way to see the Password it signed me in on... ? the one I created yesterday... or the one that was created in 2021... So.. please tell me what the Browser is called today... Firefox or Mozilla... or Mozilla Firefox... ??? and I'll begin AGAIN... OR CAN YOU FIX THIS FOR ME WITH JUST ONE ACCOUNT, and I'll create another Password. My email has NOT CHANGED for either account... ey47ey@yahoo.com Please advise me how to establish my Account ASAP so I can continue my work. I HOPE I can thank you in advance for clearing this up for me. I'm trying to "Run-Away" from Everything... Google!

Formerly the account used for Sync was called Firefox Account, but a while back the name got changed to Mozilla Account. The account still works the same and website links like accounts.firefox.com haven't changed, only the page title now refers to Mozilla Account, so do not get confused.

Hey James... thanks... that explains about the name of the site. I had no idea. NEXT... I need to solve the issue of deleting the new account I just began... without loosening any of the imported data I brought with me from my last site, which is current... OR... delete my three old Mozilla account, which I have no idea of the Password. I can sign into the account... but being NEW to the layout... I have no idea of how to know what's what. Can you tell me an address of a LIVE Representative with Mozilla that I can have actually manipulate the management of the two accounts and get me set up and ready to go? Lots to ASK huh? Part of the reason I changed Browsers is due to my workload with Computer issues due to some SCAM I wanted to be clear of. Now I run into this. Too old for details! Thanks.. Suggestions would be appreciated.

If both accounts are using the same email address then this likely means that you probably only have one account, so be careful with removing an account.

To delete a Mozilla Account you need to login to this account using its email address. If you do not remember its password then you need to reset this password.

Note that this removes all data saved on the Sync server.

Best is to do an account delete in a new profile to prevent data corruption of your current profile. See "Creating a profile":
