‘Pay with PayPal’ functionality on websites is broken for me and has been across updates of both Firefox and iPadOS for as long as I can remember at this point. I’m using an iPadPro running iOS 16.7.2 with Firefox for iOS version 120.4 (36613). When I’m checking out at e-commerce sites (e.g., J Crew), and I click on the PayPal button when selecting a form of payment, a new tab opens, but it’s literally blank — nothing even tries to connect or load. This happens across e-commerce sites. It doesn’t happen with Firefox on my PC/Windows laptop or on my iPad with other browsers (Chrome, Safari). I have tried everything that I can uninstall/reinstall, deactivate, or toggle, and nothing seems to fix this. I have cross-site tracking disabled in iOS. Some people have suggested that websites are not fully supporting Firefox any longer or that there is a problem with Firefox and Apple’s proprietary rendering engine. I’m really at the end of my wits about this. After having used Firefox faithfully since Netscape disappeared, I’m honestly on the verge of giving up. Please help.

Firefox has become basically unusable since the iOS 17.1.2 update. Everything is extremely slow — opening a tab, selecting the address bar, waiting for keyboard to load, typing, loading results etc. Only after the wait at each step to load a web page does it become navigable as long as I stay there and don’t leave to return later. I’m on latest version in app store. Been a Firefox user since my first smartphone and beyond that on a PC. I prefer Firefox, but I downloaded the DuckDuckGo browser just to have something responsive for basic web searches. Please help.

Hi It is impossible to use Firefox on ios 17.2 because it continuously crash. Realle, the issue arise months ago Can you solve the issue or can you send me instructions in order to solve the issue? Regards Mario

Since like 2 weeks, Firefox on my M1 MacBook keeps crashing. This is really annoying which is why I have to consider switching to Brave.

Does anyone have the same problem?

Crash? My Windows 10 tablet pro pop-up keyboard stops working for Hulu & YouTube so far. That's the main ones I'm on for that device. It won't keep popping up for me. Is there a way to be sure that Firefox messages always get to my main email? I want to be sure to get a notification, once someone can reply.

I just updated my Firefox web browser app to Version 118 from app store. Since then, the app is not functional at all. Most of my tabs won't load, and the app crashes every time I open it. I am on ios 16.7.

All updates since 117.0 crash when I attempt to launch (iPhone X, iOS 14.3). I've never had any issue with previous updates. Seems like a bug that needs rectifying.

Hello! I’m a bit concerned because firefox has been functioning perfectly fine up to last week, when it started not crashing, but losing the opened sessions. I had many tabs that I would go back to after closing firefox. And then suddenly, when I opened it, there were no tabs at all. This happened again yesterday. And today again. I cannot find the option “restore previous session” like on the computer, so I go to history and manually restore the lost tabs, and of course it isn’t possible to remember everything, so lots are being lost. Could you help me? Many thanks!

I regularly update the app, without any problems.

The latest one (117) causes a startup crash. Can’t access the browser or the settings.

Thank god for jailbreak, I downgraded to the stable 116.4. Cleared web data, rebooted to a non-jailbreak state, updated to 117 and still crashes.

Back to 116.4 until a solution or feedback.

History tab view shows an image of tab value but does nothing when a tab is selected, opens a blank pane. Click-hold on tab thumbnail causes browser to crash. IOS Firefox current versions. iPhone SE 3rd gen.

Webpage freezes randomly recently. Need to close the app manually every time and restart all the searches or type the website afterwards. Please fix the problem. I am using the most updated version of firefox in IOS.

Have never been encountered this problem before.

Hello Since the release of 116 for iPhone, my iPhone 8 freezes. I have to switch the phone off and reboot it. Only for it to occur a few minutes later. I know from the comments on the App Store that I’m not the only one.

I’m running iOS 16.6, with around 21GB of free space.

Thanks for your prompt attention. I’m having to use the G**gle app to get round this problem, which doesn’t sit well with me.

Whenever firefox is running in the background waiting to be used, it crashes as soon as i click an external link or open the application from my home screen. Opening the app after not using it for 5 minutes causes the app to freeze, and won’t respond until the app is restarted completely.

For the two nights any tabs i have open on mozilla are wiped out. Not the first time this happened, and last time i managed to somewhat fix it. I tend to keep a lot open, but today it was well under 20 and it still every tab vanished and i had to go digging to find the windows i was keeping to read, listen to music, and last few times i lost a lot of art references and recipes i never found again. Finding the ‘need to haves’ in history only works for tabs i kept outside of private browsing, and looking for the lost tabs is well over an hour for only 10-13 tabs to be found since i look up a lot of random things. Am beyond wits end as i spent three hours up late trying to fix it, only to spend another two trying to fix it when it happened again
