not sure if this is where i should be but i tried the Thunderbird help and got no answer. After the most recent Thunderbird up date and a Thunderbird install over existing one when i go to my drafts folder and click on any draft or save message in there i get a yellow bar at the bottom of the page that i have never seen before . Now i do not want recreate a new profile and lose all my contacts book marks add on etc. how do i remove that yellow bar in Thunderbird mail

I am using Firefox v125.0.2. When I open a PDF in Firefox it takes a lot of time to load. But, when the same PDF opened in the Edge browser it loads normally and scrolling through PDF pages renders fast. I have shared the screenshot of a single-page pdf loading taking quite a long time.

Could someone please help me with this.

Concurrent with the most recent automatic windows update (may or may not be the problem), Firefox with duck-duck-go will not go to almost any site. All I get is a spinning icon or a blank page, not even any error messages. This was even true trying to go to this page until I restarted in trouble shooting mode. Until I can get Firefox working again I have been using Chrome with duck-duck-go. Note any search, i.e. 'hotels in Italy' or even 'MSN' do the same: spinning icon or blank page!! Any help would be appreciated. Also I noticed that my bookmarks were missing and there was no bookmarks drop-down on my tools line. I have run malware bytes and it showed clean, same with CCleaner. I have re-installed Firefox; no difference. Please help. and also, any way to find and replace my extensive bookmarks list? I have reduced my privacy to near zero and turned off firewalls and all limits I could find while testing for that. That did not change anything.

I was looking for an item that would be a couple of years back in my history, only to discover that my history now only goes back a year and 3 months… Exactly, as of today, I don't know if that's meaningful. Does anyone have any idea what might've happened, and how I can restore the rest of my history? Thank you!

I'm on a Mac using Mojave, with Firefox version 115.8.

I keep hitting sites where menus and selection boxes turn into unreadable Wing Dings? On W11 and cleared and rest the font cache in Windows and still repeatedly seeing the issue?

I sent an email with multiple BCCs and no CCs or TOs, I put myself as one of the BCCs.

I did not receive it and I do not think anybody else did as well since I asked a few people.

The email is in the sent folder. I tried forwarding the email from my sent folder to myself as CC, and that worked. I also tried fowarding as BCC, and that worked.

So what is going on? Is BCC working? How can I know for certain? Do I need to foward the email as BCCs to all my BCCs to get this to work?

Bug forever (years, versions, reinstallations).

Failure by filters whose action is to DELETE. As stated in subject. Uncomplicated.

Other filters work (they distribute msgs into specified folders).

When I view my bank statement in Firefox, everything appears fine, but when I print the statement, all occurrences of boldfce "S" on the printout are blank. This problem does not occur with Google. Running macOS Catalina, all maintenance applied, Firefox is at 125.0.3.

Firefox just will not print anything at all. I have tried all the suggested fixes; everything else on my computer prints fine to either directly connected printers or to network printers. The 3 other computers on my home network all print to all printers from Firefox. I have deleted Firefox and reinstalled I have deleted all printers and reinstalled When I do try to print with the print queue open, the file spooling briefly splashes up and disappears quickly. If I download a PDF from the web, it will not print from within Firefox, but will print from Acrobat or Nitro I have changed antivirus from Eset to Webroot anywhere. No improvement and in between with no Antivirus, Firefox would not print. Any thoughts, as I had to change browsers and I want to get back to Firefox? Help!!

I don't want to be able to scroll the page by selecting text. That's what the scroll wheel is for. More often than not this 'feature' just results in frustration as scrolling the page selects more text. Can I just disable this altogether somehow?

With Windows11 and Thunderbird 115.10.1, I am suddenly unable to send emails. It has been fine up until a few days ago and as far as I am aware, nothing has been changed.

Hello, I did look for related posts but found nothing close enough to this so I thought I would create a post. I don't ever recall having this issue before v102 was introduced but now it happens once in a while but not always.

If I am in the inbox of my main mail account and choose to delete a message, it goes away and then reappears almost immediately. There is a box that shows up at the bottom right of the screen that says: The current operation on inbox did not succeed. The mail server for account (my main mail account is shown) responded: UID MOVE failed. This account is in Canada on the Bell Canada network so perhaps it is an ISP issue?

I have 3 mail accounts set up - all IMAP. If I close TB and reopen it, the message is gone as if it required the program to close in order to complete the delete request.

How do I turn off those annoying "update available" notifications/reminders that keep popping up? I've gone into Settings, and in the Updates section firefox only let's me select auto updates or check for updates. I searched online but couldn't seem to find anything about how to disable the notifications all together with the newer version of FF. It's driving me crazy, thinking of switching browsers because of this. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I can't use Firefox because a captcha won't complete loading. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache and disabled add ons. I am using a vpn (PIA). Chrome and Edge both load and operate OK. Thanks in advance.

Captchas are an ongoing issue. Firefox seems to have a LOT more captchas than other browsers. Is there a problem between Mozilla and Google?

I have been using TB for years. I just discovered this morning on my W11 system, that in my message filters labeled "head hunters" that individual domain names are being deleted. This is on top of having to run rules manually to get them to take effect.

Let me be clear: I capture email address and strip them to domain name, add them to the list called "headhunters" and have that set up for ending with. This way I don't have to have one for each person from that entity that contacts me. So I had at the end of last week, something like 20 entries. Today, I have maybe 10.

I have been going through many reports and I am seeing similar complaints about rule elements going away, and I even got the impression one person was having Rule sets get deleted (Rule set would be a Name, which then has individual rows to act on).

I have folders that have been defined to have removal of all email older than, say, 30 days. I have my inbox rule that gets rid of all emails over 400 days old.

Can this set of processes somehow be in conflict so that Thunderbird is deleting elements in rule sets?

Normally when you starting to write a new email, Thunderbird will set the 'from' address to the address of the account whose mailbox you're current browsing.

However, I have a saved search that entirely contains email from my secondary (work) account, but if I start a new email while browsing it, it picks my default (home) email address. This has caused me to accidentally send emails from the wrong address more than once!

Is there any way to change it so that it'll set the 'from' field of new emails to my work email when browsing that specific saved search?

I'm on a Mac running Monterey 12.7.4. I've been using Firefox for years with no issues. All of a sudden Firefox can't load any websites. Message: "We can’t connect to the server at www.XXX.ca." But Safari loads all websites with no problems. I can't figure this out.
