Have just noticed that there are no longer green Norton check marks against web results. Have spent all morning in live chat with Norton. They say it is the way it has been set up. Very disappointed as they check marks were very useful.

I just did a Google image search on my pixel 8 and saw that all the image results were forced to "fit width" so I can only really see 1 result at a time. I have the "Google Search Fixer" installed and dialsabling it returns the image search view to gallery. But when I enable to addon it goes back to that "ft to wish" view.

I've looked through the options and tried searching for similar problems/solutions and found nothing. How do I return my Google image search view to gallery? It's really obnoxious and frustration to only be able to see 1 image at a time when searching.

For the past few days when I have tried to log into a few websites which use TLS/SSL I have gotten PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR. Please see the attached screenshot for more details. This issue was observed ever since I updated to Firefox version 124.x. Prior to that the websites were working fine.

When I try to access the same websites and try to log into them using Microsoft Edge, I do not face a similar issue. They work fine.

I have cleared the browser cache, restarted firefox, and then tried. Still faced the same issue. I have cleared the DNS cache of Firefox browser (about:networking#dns) and then tried. Still faced the same issue. I have opened Firefox in Safe mode (Menu > Help > Troubleshooting mode) and still faced the same issue.

Can someone please help me in fixing the issue? I would like to refrain from using MS Edge or chrome browser.

I am facing issue while downloading files in Firefox Private Browsing. Whenever I download my PDF files, as soon as I close the browser window, the files also get deleted automatically. What should I do to rectify this issue.

Step to reproduce

1. 1. I go to: https://wwws.tesoro.es/index.aspx (website of the Spanish gov)
2. 2. I click on the link: Cl@ve in the center of the page (that should bring me to https://pasarela.clave.gob.es/Proxy2/ServiceProvider)
3. 3. I receive an error page "Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue" "SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER" (see the attached screenshot)

I have migrated from old MacPro to new Mac Studio. Firefox ESR version 115.9 has migrated with it. I've downloaded the latest Firefox but it operates independently of the ESR version. How do I ensure new version has all log in, contacts and history?

On my Windows-11 Laptop, the Vertical-Scroll-Bars in Firefox are too narrow for me to use comfortably. I am struggling with the Touch-Pad, Mouse Pointers, causing the frequently needed act of Scrolling to become a dreaded ordeal? Hello, Firefox randomly downloaded a file, with seemingly randomly name, that is 0 bytes and in download manager the source is moz-safe-about. It happened when I was accessing a popular wiki site. I opened the file in notepad, it was empty. I put it on virus total and came back negative, as it is an empty file. I've curbed through the support tickets here, using the keyphrase 'moz-safe-about'. I understand this was/is quite a common problem, but it still makes me quite worried and left a sour taste in my mouth, as I haven't understood any of the explanations. I have enabled firefox to ask me whenever it wants to save something (I have no idea why this isnt the default state). Happened on a somewhat fresh, updated win 11 installation. I'm also attaching more information here with a picture. Long story short: should I be worried? Am I overreacting and this is just some sort of a bug that occurred while getting a sites data? After updating my openSUSE Firefox package from version 122 to 123 every frame inside each window started to have weird grey overlay of scrollable area. I failed to find any description of such a thing happening, let alone how to get rid of it. I tried removing build-in distro-default preferences and had complete audit of all my custom preferences in about:config but none changed that behavior. I even updated to 124b4 but this also haven't changed anything. Naturally, nuking entire profile is not an option, I might as well replace the whole browser. So, how do I get rid of this thing?

Hello. I just wonder why firefox connects to bookmarks url's right after you open firefox? Opening page is always set to:about:blank. I discovered this when I want to know some netwrok traffic from my laptop and I wanted to know which software causes that traffic. And then I noticed that only open firefox it takes connection to bookmarks url even it does not open any web pages - because the opening page is about:blank

why do my add-ons keep getting disabled?

ff keeps disabling add-ons that i have used for years and even keep a v. 5 to use the older add-ons and use the latest ff developer to use w/ more modern websites. ff even disables add-ons that worked perfectly well in ff developer and does not even give me the opportunity to re-enable them like i could before.

is there any way to force my old version to let ME decide what i want disabled/enabled?

I have had this problem for a while. I am not sure what to do so that I can fix this. Whenever I open a pdf or any application that can be opened in the browsers shows me two options for firefox browser. I attached a picture that will make it obvious what the problem is.

Hey guys, I'm using Ubuntu 24.04 with Firefox 124.0 .deb release from this repository: https://launchpad.net/%7Emozillateam/+archive/ubuntu/ppa I enabled "Ask whether to open or save files" from settings. Whenever the Open/Save dialogue is shown and I choose Open, I expect that the file would be opened using the default application. But Firefox asks again to choose the application by which the file (file link?) should be opened. It seems that Firefox is somehow change the way the files are opened through external applications and transformed local file addresses to file://uri/on/disk.

Comments on YouTube in its phone view can't be highlighted so as to make some actions with highlighted word(s) - copy, paste, find on web etc. In desktop view comments are highlighted normally. And in other browsers (Chrome, Opera) comments on YouTube in its phone view are highlighted normally as well.

In my previous browser, when opening new tabs, they were considered active even if I did not immediately switch to them. This behavior allowed me to open multiple tabs, for example, by using the mouse wheel to open several videos from the main YouTube page. Subsequently, when closing the main page, the videos would be available in the order they were opened, facilitating a seamless viewing experience.

Upon transitioning to Firefox, I have attempted to configure the browser to replicate this behavior using the Sidebery extension. However, even with the extension, new tabs are not recognized as active unless I explicitly switch to them, making it challenging to maintain the desired tab activation order.

I have explored various settings and experimented with the Sidebery extension but have not been successful in achieving the desired result. In contrast, the Yandex browser, with the "Switch to the previous active tab when closing a tab" option enabled, behaves in the manner I am accustomed to.

Could you please provide guidance on how I can configure Firefox to consider new tabs active immediately upon opening, regardless of whether I switch to them immediately?
