bold textWhen I click onto Firefox, it opens a tab that says Invalid URL. If I click onto the + next to it, it opens up into the firefox browser. What can I do about the original tab??

Every few hours, maybe 4 times a day, XULRunner appears and tabs me out of everything. It says "This profile was last used with a newer version of this application. Please create a new profile."

There isn't a 'create new profile' button. I already made a new profile as well, but it did not fix the problem.

I recently changed to the newest ESR, 115.10.0esr, to fix streaming issues.

when i type site url or chose from dropdown the error message Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at cciawards.za..

If you entered the right address, you can:

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

I have a very fast internet connection, 200 mbps and everything else on both my laptop and my mobile phone are working fine but Firefox is very slow. Pages load ok but videos will play for a short time and then freeze never to continue and downloads are painfully slow, 2 to 4 mbps. Edge and Chrome download normally and videos play with no issue. I need this fixed or Firefox is going bye bye!

Hello. Whenever that blue broader on the new tab appears, it doesn't let me type on my keyboard and doesn't let me switch to a different tab and open my folder on the desktop whenever I press my keyboard. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hi there, Last night I installed some new hardware into my PC, new motherboard and CPU for example. After that, I booted up the PC, everything worked completely fine and I was able to listen to Youtube / Twitch / Spotify etc. through Firefox.

This morning I boot up the PC, everything still works perfectly and I have audio coming from all other sources EXCEPT for Firefox. I have browsed every forum already but can not find anything that relates to me. I can't set my output device, since Firefox doesn't show up in the volume mixer. The tabs aren't muted. I have restarted Audiosrv and Windows Explorer several times. I have re-installed Firefox twice. I have tried booting it in safemode. All of the above hasn't resulted in a single second of audio. I am at a loss.

I'm using Thunderbird with my hotmail account and have never had a problem before yesterday. Now I get this error message. "Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write priviledges." Can anyone advise on this? Temporary email is accounts@gardendesignernorthdevon.co.uk

New installation of Thunderbird on WIndows11 - cannot send mail - get the follwoing error message: "outgoing server smptgo.lanlime.com failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing connections. Please verify that your outgoing server SMTP setttings are correct." WHERE DO I LOOK TO FIND THESE SETTINGS///

About 3 months ago when logging in to my bank account on a windows PC using Firefox, the password was accepted but the account failed to open due to an error. Previously it worked like a charm, but my bank updated its security and it hasn't worked since. However if I perform the same operation on Google Chrome it works. I have a similar experience on a few other web sites. Is there something in my Firefox settings preventing this from happening? Cheers,

I am unable to play any videos on firefox only because of this WidevindCDN crash messages. i have updated firefox to the latest version and restarted the device and tried again however this error keeps showing up and doesnt let any video play. Please fix

PLEASE HELP!

So I opened firefox as usual, which automatically restores my previous session, but only one tab was showing, and the rest were blank and had no addresses. Then I opened firefox again after closing, and only the last tab, of the previous tabs was showing. After that I looked for restore last session, but it was nowhere to be found. What I did find, was restore recently closed tabs, so i selected that. But of course, these were the recently closed tabs, and not my previous session. After looking around on the internet, I quickly found sessionstore files, but at that point, my past files had been updated.

Where does firefox house deleted/updated files? And how can I recover "previous" sessionstore files?

Since updating to 115.4.1 under Windows 11 (fully updated), Thunderbird regularly (about every 24-48 hours) freezes up and needs to be shut down with Task Manager. What's up??

Some websites display poorly on Firefox 119.0 on my Dell computer running Windows 11. Some of the letters of the fonts are too thin and hard to read. They display correctly in Edge.

I have used Inspect Element to see that the font is: font-family: Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;

The problem goes away if I change this to: font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;

I do not have the Roboto or Helvetica fonts installed on my computer.

The problem fixes itself if I turn off the setting for "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selection above." However, this is not a good solution, because it introduces other issues.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have researched this for several hours and tried many of the suggestions online.

1) I have disabled all extensions. 2) I don't have any Themes installed in Firefox. 3) I have tried "Smooth edges of images and text" turned on and off. 4) The problem still occurs when running Firefox in Safe Mode. 5) I don't have a "High Contrast theme" enabled in the OS settings. 6) I am not running uBlock Origin. 7) I have played with Clear Type but the problem was occurring before that. I have tried modifying Firefox's gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.gamma to the value of GammaLevel from Windows's registry Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Avalon.Graphics\DISPLAY1. 8) I haven't installed any fonts on my computer. 9) I tried setting security.sandbox.content.level = 1.

The page layout and functionality has changed. I keep getting a message about imap! I have not made any changes to anything. It's just not working, i am very lost with it. Help please. John K-D

Hello, Since the update to Thunderbird Supernova from version 102 upwards, emails in several email folders are automatically deleted or hidden. The properties in the respective folders are listed under Retention rules: Do not delete messages.

The emails displayed in the folders no longer correspond to the contents in the folders. Example: A folder displays: 7, properties in the same folder displays: 1226 with 447 MB. It looks similar in the other folders.

How can I ensure that all available emails are displayed in Thunderbird again?

A repair with *.msf does not help.

Cannot send or reply to emails. Can receive them fine. Alert message says "An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded >jlheiman@charter.net< sender rejected. Check account address settings and try again." Account settings are correct. What do I do?
