I have a dark themed website with light colored lable that is positioned inside the input field and having the autofill to autocolor the input's background yellow makes things look horrendous. I've tried the following CSS:

On top of that, I tried changing that for myself in about:config changing ui.-moz-autofill-background to false, but after clearing browser cache and doing a hard-refresh, the yellow autofill background color persists.

That would be a personal fix, but I would rather firefox not murder the theme of my site for others and let me have control of what color the autofill background color should be (if I even want there to be a difference in colors). Am I missing something? I don't simply want to turn that off for myself (although I still want to, but it didn't work). I want to change it for everyone visiting my site. (Like I'm able to change the colors of link or border colors or background colors of other elements).

After upgrading to SuperNova on my MacBook Pro, the Mail Merge function no longer is available under "File". I looked under Tools to see if I needed to reinstall the Mail Merge Add On, and the Add On feature is also missing.

I found a discussion where someone said to download some debugging file, and to do that, you had to look under the options (three vertical dots) next to the Unified Folders Inbox. However, my Unified Folder Inbox does not have three vertical dots.

How can I turn off the threading of my emails? Its driving me crazy as when an email comes in after a short time it disappears into the threads and then I have to open each thread to find out who sent the email. At one stage there were 6 emails noted near the inbox but no new unthreaded message, all went to respective threads. Very time wasting.

Today I installed a new extension (Bitwarden) and want to add the icon to the toolbar. I can't find it anywhere. The add-on shows up in the add-on manager but there's nothing there to help me add the icon. The little puzzle piece in the upper right of the browser -- click on that and Bitwarden isn't listed.

How do I fix this? In Chrome there's a simple toggle switch in the extension manager to add the icon to the toolbar. Frankly, if I can't get this Bitwarden icon to display I can't use Firefox at all. Thanks.

When pressing the up arrow key with text in the URL bar, the bottom suggestion is selected, rather than returning the text cursor to the beginning. It used to place the insertion point at the very beginning of whatever text was in there, and then another up arrow press would select the bottom suggestion, but now it instantly wraps to the very bottom selection. It's quite frustrating when trying to modify a search query - now you either have to hold the left arrow key, or accurately click with the mouse

For instance, say I type "cloud" in the URL box, but figure "storm cloud" would be a better search. I can't just press the up arrow to add "storm ", because pressing the up arrow once now just replaces the entire line of text with "https://soundcloud.com/", completely ruining my search. I'm pretty sure this was recently changed with an update. Is there any hope of changing it back?

I import my local folders from my NAS unit, My Documents/mail.

The folder headings are all there, but there is no content when I click on the headings?

This does not happen in the windows 10 version?

I recently updated to 115.4.1 and now any emails that are multiple responses shows up in my inbox with a > beside it. When I try to open the email, it opens multiple windows, each with one of the emails in the chain. How do I get back to only opening one at a time and getting rid of the >?

Is there a way to add a delete button to the top row of each message in the Message Display List?

I've added a screen shot to show where I'm referring to.

Often when browsing the list of messages, rather than moving the mouse across the screen to the delete button in the message, it would be more productive to simply click a delete button in the Message Display List.

As described in this question I am unable to install addons in Thunderbird: when attempting to install an addon, either via the in-app browser or via a file, a pop-up window appears for which "Add" and "Cancel" buttons do nothing (there is no way to move or remove the window without killing the process).

Seeking tutorials on the rules necessary to create good looking tables in an email. such as: Can Cells be selected and combined (like in a spreadsheet) Where are any good tutorials about creating tables, etc.

In Chrome I was able to have a home page as well as a first-up page. So, for my first-up page, I had Proton Mail for my email. Then, for my home page I had the New York Times. I'd like to be able to do the same here with Firefox, if possible.

I want set my new tab page to open a local file. The same local file is also used for my home page. Until recently, I used the new tab extension to do this, however that stopped working.

There are many existing posts out there regarding this, so it seems it is a desired feature. However, none of the posts are applicable to the latest configuration 119.0 (October 2023).

Is there a way to force the new tab to open a local file? Or open the home page (which is also a local file)?

I was wondering if it is possible to make the open folder of emails on the right and then the view of the emails on the right? I have it set up on "Vertical" layout and would like all of the messages to be on the right hand side of the screen, but the view of the message in the middle between "all folders" and the open message

SHORT VERSION: Is it possible to make hunderbird show me, in the main window, that there is a tagged email ALSO inside a subfolder? EXPLANATION I am trying to be tidy and organised in my work emails with Thunderbird ;) Therefore I BOTH divide emails in subfolders AND flag the emails I have to postprocess but I don't have time right when I receive them. BUT I STILL HAVE TO POSTPROCESS THEM!!! However, if a flagged email is in a subfolder, Thunderbird doesn't show me that is flagged. In other words, if I want to see if there are unprocessed emails, I would have to enter each subfolder (which I don't do - so I don't postprocess the email! (angel) )

Mailbox appears crowded. Line spacing seems closer than earlier versions. Looks cluttered, distracting.

Any way to change the actual font and/or line spacing to customize UX?

It always worked, i just alt+tab to firefox, quick spacebar and youtube video paused until few days ago, now i need to specificaly click on the video in order for it to work, other buttons work, other video websites like netflix dont have any problem. I remember new update tab opened. Why do you have to break everything? Don't know how long that show all tabs button is up there but I tried couple times to remove it and its impossible, why URL bar is also search bar? Why? everyone can but search bar whenever we want, even right next to it, who thinks of this bullshit? Instead of being user friendly you put useless shit into it making it work like a my 16 bit PC when people expect it to run smoothly and quickly.
