Where is the OPTION TO TERMINATE Nightly from constantly asking to install updates? Right now there are 2 options: 1) let it update without permission, or 2) request permission. Who can get anything done with constantly asking to update when it is not appropriate to auto-update?

I recently bought an new HP Win 11 PC to replace my current Win 10 machine. Running latest FF 144.0.2 on both. How do I transfer my complete FF profile (bookmarks, bookmark bar, login data, EVERYTHING) to the new PC? Want the new install to be an exact functional copy.

Mozilla recently did some updates to Firefox.

I have just started my computer and went to Firefox and then to bookmarks, but they all have gone.

Anybody have a similar situation and how did you resolve the problem so as to restore all of your bookmarks.

Whenever my laptop starts up,firefox with all of my tabs always starts up with it. When i rose up earlier in the day and started up my laptop firefox with all my tabs opened up as normal,but this evening everything is gone. I had at least 20 tabs open and they were all important. There was no option to recover the tabs and this isn't the first time this has happened,this is at least the third time that this has happened after the last year and a bit. This is incredibly annoying and frustrating. Is there even any point in asking the community how this can be resolved?

Running Windows 11. Recently there is a small gear symbol on the Firefox icon in the Taskbar. I don't want it there and it's irritating as hell. Apparently it has something to do with profile. I don't care what it has to do with, I want it to go away. I went to about:config and set browser.profiles.enabled to false, but every time I restart Firefox, it apparently gets set to true again.

There is no reason for Firefox to have forced this visual change on users. How do I make the gear go away permanently? The gear goes or Firefox gets uninstalled and I'll go back to Chrome.

Recently when i try to sign into my outlook accounts using the option password, says "you've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect password?" i have to ask to send a link to another email address to sign in. I have no problem signing in on other platforms, just Firefox. I have tried safe mode clear cache and still it doesn't let me sign in using my password? Assistance to resolve this would be appreciated. Thank you

I have purchased a new computer and I want ot transfer al my bookmarks, login details etc onto the new one. I have followed the instructions given on your help pages, to no effect. My old computer ruins Firefox under Win 10. The new computer runs the same version under Win 11. I have copied the contents of Profiles from the old to the new, but Firefox says the profile is missing. When I copy and add the folders in Profiles to the Win 11 computer, there is no difference. The names of the folders in Profiles are different on each computer, so I think that it is looking for a particular file/folder name, but I don't know which one. Can anyone help me?

I started using Firefox Nightly for the split view, and I'm a tired of this alert.

I skimmed the quick article about configuring the Privacy & Security settings, but it seems like this feature just isn't working properly.

It doesn't matter if I click "allow" or "block", the alert always comes back. I care about my privacy, but not enough to do this every time I refresh a page.

I'd be happy to provide any documentation, just lmk what y'all need.

i am not happy right now, lately mozilla is crashing and requesting restart on sensitive documents and not restoring previous sessions, i spend lots of time and energy filling documents for it to just mysteriously vanish my hard work, so not happy right now.
