I like the button that shows the status of anything I elect to download (e.g. an image to put in an error report).

However about a week ago I started getting a pulldown style display in addition to the little status icon. Is there any way to shut that off? It's annoying.

Please help me.....

After update my firefox its showing a share option on each featured image on amazon product page. How may I can turn this off?

I frequently have difficulty when I need to make plain-test copies of web pages. These are pages that only allow "Select All" to select parts of pages, so that important parts of the pages cannot be selected, or so that a large number of select-and-copy cycles are required to copy the information on a webpage. The Firefox extensions that I have tried like the old "right to click" do not seem to help much. With old versions of Windows, I would use print-to-file for a generic plain-text printer, but that does not provide a readable file on Win 10.

I frequently find these problems on web pages with survey questions. My Macbook Pro was repaired at the local Apple store. When I got it back, Firefox was closed. When I opened it again, I could not restore my previous session. It has been over a week now. How can I restore the session from before my Macbook Pro was repaired?

How do you save the changes you made on inspect element on firefox?

I need to recover a web page that I visited several times last fall using Firefox on Mac OS. I have regular backups which should include the Firefox cache files, but after looking through several threads online it is not clear exactly which file I would look for in my backups, and how I could go about actually looking at the cached version of that page. I have seen some tools for viewing old cache files, but the only one that seemed reasonably easy to use is only for Windows.

I would be grateful for any step-by-step instructions on how I can see an old page (or at least any parts of it that were cached) that no longer exists.

Also: I tried the various internet archives such as way back machine and google cache but no such luck. This was an ad on a real estate website in Italy.

I have a small window where I keep track of ball game score. Unfortunately, as I keep browsing, Firefox overwrites that window with new content. Is there a way to tell Firefox to leave that window alone?

I autoscroll, using the middle mouse button a lot. I middle click, release the button, and just move the mouse. To stop the scrolling I click the middle button again.

The problem is that in Twitter (only when using Firefox, not Chrome), and perhaps a very few other websites, if I make that second click (to end scrolling) over a link or linked image, the link opens (in a new tab). This is very frustrating, since I can move the mouse anywhere while scrolling, and I commonly mistakenly open links this way, interrupting my reading.

If I am *not* autoscrolling and middle-click on a link in Twitter, nothing happens. (Perfect!) But if I am autoscrolling the link opens (Bad!).

How can I set up Firefox to that the middle mouse button will never open links, and only function for scrolling?

The font size in the toolbar is too small. I mean the text on the tops describing my open tabs, the bookmarks toolbar, etc.

I cannot find an actionable answer to how to increase or change the font size. I need a solution, but not written in a tech language. Is there one?

Okay so basically for example lets say i want to permanently just for my screen have this image deleted/or hidden whatever how can I do this without using an extension?

In trying to find ways to remove elements, it seems like I need to go the CSS route. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good tutorial or good videos or something so I can learn how to do it. It looks complicated to me, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The way it's setup is intended to deter growth from mobile devices, isn't it? That is my impression of it anyway.
