Thunderbird emails work fine except cannot open any videos included with the email. This problem suddenly occurred as previously it was not a problem. Nor certain but it may have resulted from updating to most current version of Ubuntu.

I cannot find how to get to the config editor in Thunderbird 102.7.0 (32-bit) (Windows 10). I cannot find the options/preferences to get there. I want to change default printing to the system dialog. Can anyone help?

I have had one of my accounts not work on Firefox lately. It has worked for years and now, over the last 2 months, it will not connect. I get this message back with about 25 different numbers. The requested URL was rejected. Consult the administrator. I am not teck savy and have not been able to fix this.

For the last couple of months I have had problems streaming some of the channels that come via Sling when I try to watch them on my Dell Latitude E5450 laptop. I can see them fine on my regular t.v. but now not on the laptop. That's a huge change in the last few months because for years I could stream every Sling channel to my laptop. Since my t.v. does not use Firefox, that suggests the problem is something Firefox has done. Not surprising, I guess. Probably happened when it was fixing some other something it screwed up. Nonetheless, any ideas for how to resolve this WITHIN Firefox capabilities? (And don't suggest it's Sling's fault. Sling streams just fine, thank you very much, in Edge.)

I am using CardBook where I am able to manage categories. unfortunatly it seems that the new address book dow not provide it.

When somebody is working on that issue, I have the little wish, that it will be possible to select more than one items in categories which will be connected with "and" condition, f.e. "collegues" AND "friends". When I want to manage this combination I have to establish a new category currently "friends within collegues" which I have manage additionally....

After updating to 109.0 Firefox won't open on primary monitor. I have moved it, closed it, but it restarts back on secondary monitor. After I move it to primary monitor, if I open another browser window it opens on the primary. I have renamed the xulstore.json file(so it creates a new one) but that did not help. It was working fine before the 109.0 update. I also have chrome installed and it works fine the way it should, so I'm thinking it is a Firefox 109.0 problem.

Ever since upgrading to the latest browser (109.0) I cannot login into both of my facebook accounts. One works fine, but the other one, when I input the credentials, goes to the first account. It only does this on firefox v 109.0. I tried them both using Opera, and they both work fine. What did you people do? Are you saving my logins improperly? If so, WHY?? Fix this problem or lose a very long time customer.

When I open Thunderbird I get a message that there are no E-mails to download however I get the audio signal that there are messages there. When I click on get messages they are downloaded OK. Seems like the audio is correct and the message wrong. Any ideas please.

Hi there, My problem is simple. I am trying to set up a new non-gmail email address to work with Thunderbird, but each time I go, Google asks me to verify that this new address is mine. It says it will send a code to my new email address. Except I have n o way of receiving that code because every time I try to set up that new address, Google says it cannot find it. I'm trapped inside a revolving door. Any ideas? Suggestions? Thank you.

I installed Thunderbird on a new pc and added two email addresses. I need to add two more but now I am receiving this msg. "Login to server imap.schnorenbergsfloor.com with username matthew failed." I have changed the SMTP server settings and the Imap settings and watched a few you tube videos followed the directions and still cannot add them. I even tried to uninstall Thunderbird and reinstall it but when I did that my original two emails were already there I did not have to create them again.

I thought I'd give the Foxfire a try on my Windows 10 laptop, so I downloaded and created an account, etc. All worked fine until I tried to use my desktop shortcuts to open Chrome, Google Photos and Gmail. Non would open. I then opened Google and found my sync was off. I tried to sign in and could not sign into my Google Account, I then spent several hours with Google support trying to find the problem. At last, it allowed me to sign in and restore all my Google account items. I then uninstalled Firefox as I didn't want to go thru this problem again.

Does anyone know why this occurred and how to avoid it again if I were to want to reinstall Foxfire?

Can anyonte tell me how to add the OpenDocument (LibreOffice) mime types to Thunderbird?

When I get .odt attachments in my emails, I do not get an option to "Open" the file, or to "Choose which application to use" to open the file.

Is there a way to add these mime types? .odt, .ods, .odp, .odg

BTW ... One would think that, with +200 million LibreOffice users worldwide, these mime types would be part of the default mimes added to Thunderbird along with the others. It would send the notion that Thunderbird supports the open document formats as well as proprietary formats.

Hi - Suddenly after using Firefox for many years I cannot open several of my financial-banking sites on my laptop. After entering the password, the browser goes back to the log-in screen. Starting again repeats this circle. I have tried turning off enhanced tracking but there is no effect. This problem occurs on these sites: new.alterna.ca, alternabank.ca and motivefinancial.com. Oddly enough, easyweb.td.com still works to access my account. On my android mobile, logging in with Firefox works fine on all these sites. Can you help me resolve this issue? I don't want to have to start relying on Edge or Chrome! Paul Thomson

I've been happily using the feed from https://feeds.feedburner.com/LICD for quite a while, but in the last few days, suddenly Thunderbird 91.10.0 (64-bit) gives me the feed "is not authorized" error. Previous solution https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1166672 isn't working for me - Lightning is no longer an extension, so I can't deactivate it. I'd remove the calendar function entirely if I could - I don't use it.

Going to advanced preferences and pulling up calendar.useragent.extra gives me radio buttons to select Boolean, Number, or String with a plus sign to add it. Adding one doesn't fix it. Setting to false doesn't fix it. Deleting the one I added doesn't fix it. Right click only gives me Select All, which highlights all text on screen and does nothing.

Most of my other feeds are fine, and checking the website shows the RSS URL has not changed. I have read a couple of other complaints about this same issue, and, apparently there is a bug concerning this issue at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1694001 but it has been stalled for over two years.

Is anyone going to do something about this?

I have a user that is unable to open Firefox. When she tries, she gets a popup that says Firefox is already running, but is not responding. I have followed the troubleshooting guide, but I am still having this same issue. I uninstalled, and reinstalled Firefox twice with fresh downloads from the Mozilla website. We are still having the same issue. Unless I close Firefox through task manager, the window will keep popping up.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I've been using firefox's built-in pdf editor and I know it's saved my edits in the past, but the file I'm working on right now never seems to save my annotations and I'm not sure why. I've saved it half a dozen times with the same name as before and changing it, and all I've managed to do is get more copies of the unchanged file on my computer. Does anyone know why this is happening?
