Everyone says my audio sounds distorted in google video chat. I had been using it for months without issue on Firefox, and then I got a new Apple computer and people started to tell me I had this issue. In order to isolate the issue I tried going on Teams Video chat and Zoom video chat and people said my audio sounded fine there. Then I opened Google Video Chat in Google Chrome and people said my audio sounded fine there too. Lately, it's only when I'm on Firefox trying to use Google Video Chat (aka Google Meet) to video chat and people say my audio sounds way too distorted to hear what I'm saying. I restarted my computer, I even checked for the latest browser, which is up to date, I can't figure out how to fix this. Sounds like a firefox issue. Any ideas?

Macbook Air, Sonoma 14.1.2, second monitor connected via hdmi. This oval purple icon showing a person in front of a screen suddenly appeared in and behind upper left hand corner of window, and is now in all my windows. (see attached image)

I cannot get firefox to update. It is set up for automatic updates but they don't happen. Even if I try manual installation of updates. Nothing works. I ran it in troubleshooting mode and the problem still exists. I restarted my computer and the problem still exists. I am using a mac running on Monterey.

I have the Dark Reader extension, because white screens HURT MY EYES. This is an accessibility issue! ALL of your support pages do not recognize or respond to the dark reader extension, and leave the page backgrounds WHITE! I can barely stand to write this! UGH! Thank you for fixing this!

SSIA for the most part. I am running firefox 124.0.1 on my macbook air and, only from certain senders, does the formatting look different from others - the font is different, and I can't highlight or click links. Almost seems like a picture instead of text - I can even click in the general area and it'll copy/paste it in Word like a picture.

Any suggestions?

Apparently, for some time now the updates versions of Firefox (currently 124.02) has many incompatibilities with macOS Sonoma 14.4.1. Thinking I could fix it, I re-installed Firefox and currently I no longer have access to any of my favorite sites and mailboxes, all my pass-words are refused.

We are a medium-sized company and are looking for a viable solution for sharing bookmarks between devices. Does anyone know what the maximum number of devices whose bookmarks can be synchronized with Fireofx is?

Some say five, but I cannot find an authoritative answer to this. Also, if that is true, is there some kind of bussiness solution for this kind of demand?

I use OnlyKey usb key as FIDO2 MFA with most of my accounts. On Firefox 123.0 on MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1 (23C71) however, I get presented with multiple pop ups to touch my usb key but the key expects only one input/touch and it fails when I touch it the second time. This was not the workflow that I used to use before and it still works fine on MacOS ventura with Firefox + protonmail.

When I scroll through Facebook, often if there are two posts with photos, the browser seems to jump back and forth between the two images making it impossible to see or read either. My release is 123.0 and it was loaded when I needed to restore my system after a drive upgrade about 10 days ago.

I have had this spam pop up 2 times when I was on Facebook through Firefox through DuckDuckGo. Could someone confirm that this is spam and how to fix it? Also, I would like to report it to Firefox and I can't find how to do that either. Thank you

I can't print an email. The whole screen prints and is too small to read.

I read previous answers to use the drop down menu and select print, but then I get window that says I have a blocking the print. I don't have an active blocker. I do have malwarebytes. Never had any trouble printing on chrome or safari.

Hi, I like to know how to transfer addresses to bookmark toolbars? I have the copy all addresses of bookmarks in the previous firefox. I transferred all, but they are in one bookmark, not in toolbars, or other bookmarks. I like to set the same as the previous bookmarks. Thank you so much for your help, Miyabi

Every time I quit FF, FF crashes, or my Mac crashes, my bookmarks either disappear entirely, or the toolbar bookmarks and/or my "Other Bookmarks" folder disappear while leaving my main "Bookmarks Menu" bookmarks. When I tried to restore from json backups, I discovered that my last one seems to be from last October. So I used Time Machine to restore my FF user profile from March 1. This works, but then I go through the cycle I just described above again ... and again. New backups of my Mac do not hold onto the bookmarks when I restore FF user profiles made after March 1.

When I try to manually back up my bookmarks or export my bookmarks to an HTML file from inside the "Manage Bookmarks" window, everything seems to work, but then when I go looking for the file I supposedly created (e.g. bookmarks-2024-03-04.json), no such file exists in the location where I saved it and searching for a file with "bookmarks" in its name yields only bookmarks from other browsers and the old bookmark backups from last October and earlier.

While I was browsing an open tab I moved my cursor over to the Bookmarks icon and the cursor automatically enlarged itself. I expect the cursor to remain at its normal size when I hover over the bookmarks icon but instead it became larger. I cannot reproduce the error unfortunately.

M2 MacBook Air running macOS Ventura. When I open a website which wants access to my camera I am asked if I want to allow this. I say "Allow", and the light next to the builtin webcam turns green, but I see nothing in the camera sub-window on the webpage which was granted access. No error message, just no camera video is shown by the webpage. In the menu bar is a camera icon which I can click on and confirms I have "Allowed" camera access. Setting / Privacy / Permissions / Autoplay is set to Block Audio. I have verified the camera works with other apps (Photo Booth). How can I diagnose this?
