im afraid to download anything. i should not have to download firefox browser, i have been using this acct for years. i tried to update ccleaner last nite and windows defender caught a trojan but removed it right away all other places i have been were fine today what happened to my firefox and duckduck go etc

When using Google Meet, you are given the option to share your screen — either the entire screen, or a specific Firefox window.

I've noticed, however, that no matter what Firefox window is used, if you access an extension that creates a pop-up dialog, such as the Container selection button from Conex, the uBlock origin settings popup for each webpage, or a password manager pop-up such as Bitwarden, those popups will appear on the shared window, even if you decide to do this from another Firefox window altogether.

This is a major security concern for me, as I've had circumstances where the password entry window for Bitwarden will appear on any window, even if I open the extension pop-up from a window not being shared to Google Meet. I'm not sure where to submit this issue, so I'm starting from the Mozilla support page and going from there. Would appreciate anyone's help on getting this issue resolved. Thank you.

firefox is very slow, crash several times. i need to close and reopen.

it comes on average 2TB of Ram with 4-5 tabs open. version: 99.01 64 bit

A subscription service I purchased (Kine Mania TV) has on several occasions gone to a porn site. I have enjoyed many hours of wholesome TV series and movies at Kine Mania TV - but HATE it when smut shows up instead! Please advise - this is scary stuff for an old lady. My Firefox browser is out by 4 hours. I am eastern and it recently switched to west coast time zone on its own. It did it once before and fixed itself in about a week. Other browsers are fine. I would like to stick to FIrefox but my shop tells me to switch. Can you tell me how to correct this problem? Thanks, Glen [email removed from public]

Wordle does not work properly on FireFox. It does not recognize characters that I enter as valid characters in the solution of the day. This occurs quite frequently.

On Firefox for Windows (on Windows 11 release 99.0.1), the first setting in Settings is "Open previous windows and tabs". This is incorrect. It doesn't do this. When checked, upon startup, it will restore one window, its tabs, & maybe its sessions (?), and it will send all the other Windows & their tabs to the bit bucket.

Users: KNOW & HEED this warning! Team: Please take what you've already done for that window and merely do it also for the rest of them? In the mean time, please change the wording to something like "Open one of the windows and its tabs". Ideally, identify which window has been chosen for this.

I travel for work and often stay at IHG properties (Holiday Inn, etc.). I have Firefox as my default browser; version 99.0. I cannot login to their wifi using Firefox; I have to copy the address and paste it into Google Chrome and after confirming my information I am able to browse normally until the next day; It must reset at some point.
