Running Thunderbird 115.4.3 (64-bit). I can't locate the setup and settings for my printer(s); that is, I cannot select the printer, specify single- or double-sided printing, print quality, etc. Under the Config Editor, I can see more than a dozen settings for my default HP Inkjet printer, but Thunderbird must have set all this up for me; I have no idea what most of the listings pertain to, and no other printer, like my PDF printer, show up there. I'm used to a Print Preview screen where the printer and its parameters can be set, but when I do a Ctrl+P, Thunderbird takes off and starts printing immediately on the default HP printer. Can someone give me a clue? Thanks.

See the subject. I just set up new contacts and want to show only their name as recipient of emails. However, when I do a test email, the recipient's email address continues to show up with their name when sent. This really sucks. Why won't it accept my settings?

It seem like since a recent version update of Thunderbird, I have to confirm every email deletion. Before it would simply delete and move into the Trash. If I really wanted it back, I could get it back from the Trash. Why does it now ask me EVERY TIME I delete an email. I used to be able to just press the delete key for a message to go on to the next message. If I accidentally deleted something I'd go find it in the Trash.

Why does "Move to Trash" have to be confirmed now?????

It slow my mail reading down incredibly.

Who added that as default option and why???

There is no longer a mail toolbar and it doesn't show up in the toolbar menu. I am not very tech savvy so don't understand what a unified toolbar is. Anyway, I wanted to tag a message and can't find a way to do it. Thanks for any suggestions.

The new update is a disaster and almost unusable. The biggest problem I have with it is that the Message pane is now reduced to a size that is uncomfortably small. This could be ameliorated if the Message List pane could be shortened, as in previous versions. The current pane cannot be reduced to less than 8 messages in the list, previous versions allowed for far fewer.

Yes, there are several options available to change the layout, but they all have even greater issues.

PLEASE CHANGE THE MESSAGE LIST PANE FORMAT SO THAT IT CAN BE REDUCED TO DISPLAY A SMALLER NUMBER THAN 8 MESSAGES!!!

I want for my email to come in according to who it is from and the FROM option seems to be grayed out and not accessible to me. How do I change/access this option? Please advise. Thank you.

I have update few weeks ago to the new version and the layout in the message body is kind of big! like the pictures that come in they are big. How do i make them smaller view? See attached picture.

I accidentally hid the menu bar and toolbars (with an accidental keyboard shortcut, I think), and when I re-enabled them, now the tab bar is above the location bar instead of right above the content windows. How do I move it back? I can't find the "browser.tabs.onTop" setting in about:config, or any check box in the View menu, settings, etc.

I'm using Firefox 119.0.1 on Ubuntu Linux.

Is there a way I can disable the "Pop out this video" button on the video player itself but keep the toggle present in the url bar? I have attached the pictures of what I am talking about I don't like the pop out button appearing on the video everytime I try to use my mouse around the video player but like the option of picture in picture seems like a good option for me.

Currently if I try to disable the button from the menu after right-clicking, it also disable the button present in the url bar.

I want extensions to have white/black-lists, so they're only allowed or blocked on certain pages e.g facebook container ruins instagram experience... and I can't block it on *instagram.com* Such feature would significantly enhance UX on firefox

Cannot prevent intrusive unwanted video on some pages; notably, CTV.ca which has an annoying widget which autoplays constantly and blockers are not effective, neither is video.autoplay.default=5 That USED to be the default no-fail go-to, now it has no effect whatsoever and I'm stymied in my attempts to block this stuff. What's next? How do i do this?

The folder pane, message list pane, and message pane are separated by lines 1 pixel wide. Is there a way to make the lines thicker, perhaps editing the chrome/userChrome.css file?

For whatever reason the Picture-in-Picture button keeps not showing up in normal places like Prime, Netflix, Hulu, etc. I can make it come back by going to the Settings turning off the Picture-in-Picture option (Which is always still active) refreshing the settings then going back to Picture-in-Picture and turning it back on and then finally refreshing the video I was trying to use, but this is kind of a lot to have to do every time it happens and it seems to be happening more and more, so I'd like to fix the root cause instead if possible. Any ideas?

The new software update bunches related emails together and shows them as one (with a > next to it). For example, the original message and three responses take up one line in the message Inbox. How can I untangle it so each message would show up as one line and not be bunched any more (like the old days!)
