My workflow in Firefox involves 100's of open tabs pertaining to work, personal etc. I regularly bookmark all the abs using the 'bookmark all tabs' feature in the Bookmarks drowdown (or the equivalent 'select all tabs' -> 'bookmark all tabs' by rightclicking on a tab) which offers the option of saving the tabs in a new folder name I specify. As of the last couple of weeks, the option to enter a folder name no longer exists. I've attached a screenshot of the current pop-up when I choose 'bookmark all tabs'.

Perhaps related: this may have started occuring after I upgraded to the latest version (v. 101.0 on MacOs 12.4 on Macbook Pro) or the timing may be a coincidence.

Saving the 100s of bookmarks every week is an essential part of workflow; I've been doiong it for years, and I really need to have this ability back. Please help me debug this.

I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox because it kept crashing. Now my bookmarks are gone. How can I get them back?

I tried to backup my computer to an earlier date but wasn't successful.

The drag-and-drop from address bar to desktop to create a internet shortcut is disabled. I can use about:config and change browser.launcherProcess.enabled to FALSE to fix it but it does not last long. It will go back to TRUE. Is there a way to set it to FALSE permanently?

There was already such a question, but it is in the archive and the answers previously given to it by technical support are no longer relevant (the browser.proton.enabled parameter no longer exists). How to return separators as lines in favorites? It's terribly annoying when it's just extended spaces. Not everyone has a perfectly developed eye gauge.

Please let me know how I can get my old bookmarks as I do not have any on file in the restore area the only ones I have are five teen year old ones, Can you please help me restore them to the my original ones?

Suddenly my Bookmarks Toolbar vanished from my browser screen. If I click on the Bookmarks Tab I can get the list of the Toolbar as a side bar, but I prefer it to be a horizontal bar always visible. Please tell me how to restore it to its previous state. Thanks!

Today, 6/10/22, I did what we sheep are trained to do, click on the latest update. What happened next is excruciatingly painful: EVERY SINGLE--ALL--FAVORITES AND SAVED PAGES--YEARS, YEARS WORTH OF SAVED PAGES AND FAVORITES, ERASED, GONE, WIPED OUT.

WHAT IS GOING ON? WAS THIS INTENTIONALLY PROGRAMMED? YEARS WORTH OF SAVED PAGES, GONE!!!

So I clicked on an excitingly named "restore" type link. Which resulted in only today's subsequent web activity being included.

What are you people doing?

I want to import my bookmarks (.html file), but all of the help I find online references Firefox's "library," and I can't find a library. Info on how to get to the library doesn't match what I see in Firefox.

The bookmarks that are shown on the shortcuts are getting distorted by time. Every 2 months, I have to re-install the browser to have decent bookmark symbols. This issue has been around for atleast a year.

Was still on a old version of Firefox Android 68.11.0 and deleted the data to try and fix something and now I can't login to that version cause it's just a infinite load screen to try to login to it now all my bookmarks are gone even now i synced it before deleting, now it's impossible to update to the new one so my bookmarks can stay on the new version

I am using Windows 10 and have spent considerable time trying to recover my lost bookmarks after restoring computer to earlier time. I have followed 'help' guidelines but nothing works.

Firefox claims that bookmarks are saved to a backup profile but there is nothing in the folder.

These are very important research bookmarks collected over years!

I did a Firefox Refresh which messed up my toolbar and I lost an icon so I tried to restore computer to an earlier date which I have done successfully before without problem and without losing my bookmarks.

Please provide easy to understand step by step instructions on how to recover this vital information.

In the year 2022, it should NOT be an issue doing something as universally SIMPLE as dragging and dropping bookmarks WITHOUT going thru a lot of NEEDLESS bullshit. Just another example of disconnected incompetent developers with way too much time on their hands. Here's a novel idea; STOP fucking shit up just for the sake of making yourself relevant to your programming overlords!!

When can the feature to move multiple bookmarks at a time to a selected folder (i.e. move or copy & paste) be added into Firefox Mobile?

How ignorant that you can SELECT multiple bookmarks, but then the ONLY available option is to DELETE them, with NO option to move them to an already created folder. I don't WANT to sync because I have separate research topics on my laptop and on my smartphone, and want to KEEP them separate. A smarter option is to offer one repository for "Mobile" Firefox, and one for the Full Desktop Firefox, then allow SELECTED importing between the two. Why are you all handicapping yourselves like this? Each NEW "Mobile" version seems only to TAKE AWAY the most useful features (like printing) of the PREVIOUS version! :( When will it stop?
