Hi

I'm trying to set up another email account but the Confirm Security Exception dialogue is preventing it. The exception is already stored but still keeps asking and when I reconfirm the dialogue flashes off/on and doesn't not disappear preventing the set up of the account. I have other emails from the same host and have not had this issue before. Anything I maybe doing wrong or bug? I've added a screenshot.

I saved a group of VTS Videos on FireFox several years ago. These were saved automatically as a VOB file by FireFox programme. I cannot open and view the videos.

I can view a heading VIDEO TS and can download the files.  VTS_20_1 109,879 KB is one of them, saved as a VOB file under the heading "TYPE".

I was on windows 10 and could not open the videos and am now on Windows 11. Can you help please. Thank you Brian Worsfold

I have just installed version 91. I did it after using version 38 to import some old Outlook files and to add details of my accounts. That worked and then I upgraded. the folders are there and the accounts but when I check the email it wants the password each time. I have checked the "use password manager" box but nothing happens - nothing gets stored. Do I have to do something different? (Maybe this is an issue as I see one or two others have similar problems)

I've been using Firefox for over 10 years. Slows down to a halt. It happens when opening a new tab or googling. I hit enter and it stops working. I've reinstalled FF3 times and it keeps failing.

I have virus protection and I'm running it without firewall. I'm on windows 10.

I have a Windows 11 original OS on my PC computer. I can install Thunderbird and it recognises my MS Hotmail Account and sets it up as normal. When I attempt to set up my gmail account I get the following error message: "Unable to log in at server. Probable wrong configuration, username or password." As far as I can tell all the details are correct. Anyone able to give me an idea how to get this working.

My Computer email has been taken and My computer has been hacked along with my Identification has been Stolen and i can't set my password, what should I do my email is [edited email from public] @gmail.com but i am unable to set a password to it.

Cannot take screenshot of problem (pop up ms from Amazon via Firefox) . . as soon as I pick up the phone or attempt any action whatsoever, the message box disappears. And since I have a fingerprint access option on, the moment my finger touches the screen for full access there is no record of the message for screen capture. Also, if I do nothing, the screen goes black (normal, with time/date etc visible) within a few seconds after the message appears . . though it is waiting for me to touch the screen at which time it reappears again for a few seconds. So it is pick up the phone . . trigger motion detection . . message box appears . . wait a couple of seconds . . black screen . . touch or pick up the phone . . message box . . black screen etc. I can of course do the fingerprint scan and have full phone features, but the preliminary nag "box message" all the time bugs the hell out of me. In the text of my "complaint" I quoted what the message says, it is not from Firefox but does have a tiny Firefox logo upper left. The small rectangular window also has a left/right "full return" arrow (grayed out each one) with a black "pause" button in between the two arrows, and it is not grayed out. However nothing happens if I touch it. In very small print under the main text (first few words of my Amazon review) is a link to the Amazon page where I posted a review of a product. The message itself that I refer to is NOT from Firefox, but is comprised of the first few words of my review headline (not all of it but most) on the Amazon product comment review page. So even though the "content" of the unwanted message is from Amazon, the Firefox logo nevertheless appears (very tiny) in the upper left of the rectangular window, so it appears to be a composite error interaction between Firefox and Amazon. How to tell Firefox to stop posting it? Or how to tell Amazon that their software is somehow involved? I haven't a clue . . ! This is a re-written complaint . . the original one resulted in an email request from "Seburo" who asked for a screenshot, but did not provide a return email address that functioned. Hey everyone.

I decided to make a fresh windows install, and when i installed firefox as allways i logged in.

Normally when i have logged in on a fresh installation of firefox it startes with the sync and getting all my old booksmarks, add-ons, passwords etc. but this time i didn't.

I thought that was weird but didn't pay mind to it, i thought i might have needed some time to sync. After 4 hours nothing has happended yet.

• Pressing Sync now under my profile

I have to many things i would like to recover... this have never been an issue before? Do anyone have some tips?

Using Ancestry.com for genealogical research. The option exists to view other trees with comparable information. Works in Chrome, Vivaldi and Opera. Works in Firefox Developer. Will not work in FF 100.0.2. I've tried the usual troubleshooting - safe mode, enabling/disabling DNSPrefetch. Example URL http://trees.ancestry.com/pt/PersonMatch.aspx?tid=44861136&pid=162378642007&src=m which should display snapshots of other trees containing the same people. Only on Firefox, I am redirected to my homepage on the website. I have read of others having the same problem. Any fix suggestions? Thanks.

A few versions of Thunderbird back, I could easily change the order of Local Folders by pressing down with the left mouse button and sliding the folder to the desired positions.

Now I can no longer do this.

Re-ordering local folders alphabetically would be helpful too.

Somewhen before or with 91.2.1, the default action when opening an existing email became "Edit draft message." (W10 19043, synching to GMail) That setting is nonintuitive and just wrong. A default should NEVER be an action that commits to an irreversable behavior path. Please fix.

This extremely bad design "feature" has apparently been around quite a while and generates exactly the problems returned by a search here on "delete attachments Thunderbird." I first noticed the behavior just about the time GMail introduced two-factor authentication. Maybe no connection there, but ...

it happens after upgarde to v.100 every click in the link in thunderbird starts only new empty FF window instead of the link content in a new tab This is not on the thunderbird side, as when I set Chromium as default browser the link is opened correctly.

Hello, I'm using Firefox 100.0.2 (OS: Ubuntu 20.04). It is not possible to manage if/when firefox updates are installed. In the options-section, there are some information about the current version number, however no chance to configure anything update-related. Updates just happens automatically and interrupt current sessions, leading to spontaneous (and surprising) dysfunction of the opened browser. That's very annoying in case of video conferencing, for example, because it is not possible to open any new tab or windows, always the note there "you have to restart firefox now" - in practice, just like a crashing error. And, the suggested restart does not re-open the current opened tabs/URLs!

Furthermore, within some updates, my language settings get lost, so it turns to English language automatically and I always must add my language packet manually again and again. Thats really annoying and maybe completely disruptive for people that are not able to read in English!

Is there any chance to come over this? Otherwise I guess I must leave using firefox as browser, however this would be not the aim I actually follow. Thx!

My Tbird no longer shows me a "Send" button once I have written a new email or am trying to reply to a received email. I've searched for possible settings regarding this, but have not located any in Tbird's help section. How can I repaid this loss?

As a secondary address, I should like to use an address from an earlier account. How much time has to pass before using old addresses is possible - or is that never possible ?
