I have 5 email addresses on my ISP account, 4 are fine. The other will not send reporting Authtication failure.

I have removed that address from Thunderbird & tried to add it again but the configuration fails.

I can send from the issue address using my ISP's web mail. I know the username & password are correct. It also works fine on my phone.

The problem seems to be Thunderbird.

For a couple of weeks now, out of nowhere, links I click from emails sent to me open in new tabs but are blank pages. This includes download links, so I'm unable to see any links or download anything being emailed to me by a number of senders. Weirdly, some senders' links work. I didn't change anything and don't know what to do about this. Please advise if you have a solution, thanks!

When trying to log into my copy machine setup webpage i get this message

I am having a problem with my Firefox homepage. There are several things going on like the red, yellow and green dots on the left side of the menu change to light dark. Some of My Bookmarks appears twice and one was added. I did a Refresh and troubleshooting but to see if my home page would go back to normal but it did not. I think I have a bug that is causing these changes on my Mozilla Browser. I need to get the browser back to normal.

Hi, I have a weird problem, I have 3 systems on my device: windows(10), ubuntu and Arch lately when i was configuring Firefox on fresh arch install I was annoyed that I needed to re-login to every single s...t again. So I thought "Why can I just share the same FF profile between systems" Long story short it didn't work on Arch. I was forced to compile FF from source and now it works... but when I'm logged in on Ubuntu and trying to launch FF from GNU I always see this error. it's working when i point out to profile from the command line with "-p <dir>". but even then when I go to about:profiles and click "launch in new browser" it's still pooping with this error. So Am I doing something wrong or it is just impossible to do this seamlessly? is there a better(correct?) way to achieve the same functionality?

EDIT: I have copied the profile's folder to a separate partition which is auto mounted tried it on Ubuntu (at this time it had been working just fine) and after using it on Arch when I was back on Ubuntu it was displaying this error

I'm having trouble re-establishing email accounts in Thunderbird. I managed to drop them in the process of going to version 115; I don't know how but I did.

Now when I try to add them back I can get through the process (Tools > Account Settings > Account Actions > Add E-Mail Account) and enter the user name, email address, and mail server names and port settings for the various domains I use. All goes well until the final phase when it tries to validate the password. The final message says "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password."

I've done everything I know to do to fix this. I've changed passwords, checked, re-checked, verified, checked re-checked and re-verified the domain's POP3 and SMTP server names and port addresses all to no avail. I'm having trouble with my ISP's (grandecommunications purchased by Astound Communications) support on issues with email addresses that use their domain (@mygrande.net) but I'm also having the same problem with gmail domain (@gmail.com) addresses.

I would abandon the email addresses if it weren't for the fact that some of the email on servers is critical and needs to be downloaded to my system. Also, I can't log in to some accounts because the companies use 2-step authentication that involves sending codes to my email addresses instead of codes texted to my phone. This has reached near crisis proportions as I cannot reach those companies except online which requires 2-step authentication using those email addresses that I cannot set up again in Thunderbird.

I'm willing to take screenshots at each step if that will be helpful. I'm afraid that I've dealt with the problem for so long that I'm making the same mistake repeatedly but not recognizing that I'm doing so.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Before I reset my PC some months ago, I almost never had to Login to sites, as the kept me logged in. This no longer happens, and now I frequently have to Login to eg. my Google account which needs third party autho and all sorts. It is rather annoying having to Login to Google every time I close the Window.

I do not have this setting on: "delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" I do have this setting on: "Ask to save logins and passwords for web sites"

It does save my Password and autofill, which makes it easier. But it is still annoying, that I have to login to everything every time.

I have tried reinstalling Firefox, to no avail.

Please Help

Hello support, When starting Thunderbird (v 115.4.1) it crashes after a few seconds even in safe mode with error message "Failed to open curl lib from binary, use libcurl.so instead". DB crash reports have been submitted (see e.g. bp-28dbde9c-184d-4f7b-ae3a-f115b0231121). I reinstalled Thunderbird as well as curl (located in /usr/bin) but the problem remains ! Please advice ! Hello, this morning i opened TB as everyday and i found a bad surprise.

My inbox main folder was empty.

I reached the source file following path and a saw that it was a few kilobytes large. My inbox is the same from 2 years, and i'm sure that inbox file exceeds 2GB.

I have to say that my disk is a little damaged, and sometimes TB opened slowly.

How can i recovery my lost db?

I'm trying some recovery software but no one have found this lost file.

What TB has done? It deleted the big file and recreate a new one? But if this is the answer, were did original inbox file go?

i now keep getting a pop up window saying that this profile was last used with a newer version of this application. Please create q new profile. what am I to do?

Some email listings do not open the correct email text. However, this doesn't apply to all the emails. Sometimes it opens the next or previous email in the list. Other times it can be off by several listings. Also whatever it opens is not a normal listing but has a lot of url links. I haven't seen this before...

My Windstream.net account was having problems in that I was not getting email from my windstream.net account even though they were coming to my web email..

I went to settings and didn't understand what I was filling out and ended up setting up a whole new account with the ending of IMAP. I am now getting double messages. I tried to eliminate the second account but can't figure out how to do that. Please advise.
