Quickbooks Online and other websites using menus no longer loading when clicking links - recent Firefox update. Only work in 'Private mode'

I am a Quickbooks Online user. Recently, my Firefox browser updated to 72.0.2 (64-bit). Now, after the update, when I attempt to go into my Quickbooks Online account and create a 'new' estimate or invoice, the menus work, but after clicking, nothing opens. I'm not very familiar with web design, but I believe they are Java based menus. If I click one of the links that directs to an outside website, they work fine. I've noticed the same thing on other websites, gemlux marine boat parts is another. Same thing, clicking in a menu does not open the link.

Lastly, when shopping on Amazon, if an item has an option (like sizes, colors, etc), and I click on the different size or color, it does not update the item page and price like it normally does. In other words, if I have a $20 item in size SMALL, and hit the drop down to change it to a size LARGE which should be $10 more, the price change does not show in Amazon's price menu. I found that if I click the 'large' in the drop down, leave it, and refresh the page, the page loads with the 'large' size selected, and then prices it correctly.

For whatever reason, if I switch to 'privacy' mode, it works fine.

I have used all of these websites frequently in the past year, and only in the last week has this started occurring. All of these websites work just fine in Chrome, IE, Edge, etc.

I prefer Firefox, so I'd like to get this figured out. It's probably something simple, like a Java setting...but that's over my head.

Thanks in advance Shawn

I hate to update my firefox, so whenever I click on the firefox icon, it would ask me if I want to allow firefox to update, I will always click no, but unfortunately, I accidentally click on yes, and it started to update firefox and I quickly use task manager to end the updating process, and now I am seeing this message in the picture.

I do not want to reinstall firefox because I have alot of bookmarks and I need those bookmarks, can someone tell me what I can do?

Starting today, Netflix will not run on Firefox. At first I got an error message from Netflix saying to update Firefox, but it's already up to date. Now, the red "loading" circle goes around and around, but the show won't start AND the error message no longer appears. Netflix works fine on Chrome, but I'd rather be using Firefox.

I have a Google email address. Ten years ago there was much less awareness on how Google gathers data to build your digital profile so to sell you their crappy adverts or intrude into your private space. Back then I wasn't so aware of the implications but now we all can see them. For the past years I have been looking for an email provider that can be reliable and available. So far Google met those expectations but fails big time on privacy. I am asking the people in this community if they know of any email provider that has privacy at its core, is reliable and available and also has a decent graphic interface and provides solution for desktop or mobile apps. So far I have heard about zoho.com and mailo.com I know there must be others. Can anyone share their opinions?

CNET runs with the Disqus commenting engine I believe. But the menus and such don't load properly, I cannot run searches, or login, and when I press the comments button at the end of an article, I never get the window panel on the right hand side of the page. I tried clearing my cache, removing all downloaded files, and no change in behavior.

NOTE: ASP MVC 5 application, using bundling and minification turned on.

Problem is that if the value is set to "0px" then firefox automatically changes it to zero. I had to set the value to 0.1px to make it work properly soon as I added 0.1px resolved the issue.

max-height: calc(100vh - 0px); is converted to max-height: calc(100vh - 0); in firefox once the application runs.

The image included in this post shows the issue in action.

The default arrow selectors are tiny and look like crap. I have went through many tutorials and websites that do not have code applied in FF or they tell me to use javascript. Why is there no css code selector in FF for those arrows?

This is code I found for Chrome: input[type=number]::-webkit-inner-spin-button{ }

So how would I edit the up and down arrows in FF?
