I get three grey boxes at the top right of the Firefox start-up page. See the attached image. They dissappear if I search and enter another web page. The only way I can get rid of them is to reset Firefox. They return within 24 hours.
What are they and how can I get rid of them?

When inserting several larger images (JPEG, 1.4 MB, 1770x2440 px, 300 dpi) directly into the message body (i.e. not as an attachment), Thunderbird crashed and the draft of the written message was not saved.
Is there a limit to the maximum size or format of an image that can be inserted directly into the body of the message?

Sorry but I find carrier pigeons easier than computers and no I don't have any. I am trying to get a second email account sorted as the first one has been disconnected (old supplier) even though new emails sent to the old address show up on thunderbird. Online advice on how to do this does not work, as the information that should be on screen is not there. Oddly enough the new email address has allowed me here, does this mean that the new email address is now working? Many thanks

thunderbird Is working fine, but this message crops up every few minutes, and requires 4 - 8 Cancel clicks. I've tried "Open anyway", I've deleted and reinstalled the app several times, and tried the terminal command "xattr - cr" and dragging the app into the window. Is there a proper fix for this. This is counterintuitive. I would like quitting to clear also the recently closed tabs.
