Using Nord Pass extension on Mozilla fine until today, when clicking on the green icon for stored username and password, this appears - "sudden error message : can't handle ITEM/URL_SEARCH type message"

How do I find the email I click on? I search for something, I see the email in the list of results, I click on said email and instead of opening it, it bring up the ENTIRE thread that it is embedded in and I have no idea which one it is! PLEASE FIX THIS! It used to open up the email you click on within the thread. Now it just shows the thread. This latest update has RUINED the search function.

I have recently started using Thunderbird 115.4.3 on a new laptop running Windows 11. I transferred my profile from my old laptop and set up my two email accounts as POP accounts. The problem is that Tbird is regularly crashing, mostly (maybe only?) when I delete messages from my Inbox. When I restart the program, it works fine except that all or most of the messages in Trash are now duplicated multiple times. Any ideas how to stop this behavior?

Granted, I have massive boxes...but in my Sent folder, I checked a mail sent just this morning and wanted to right click it to 'edit as a new message'...however, when it opens, the content is related to a different email and the sendto email is also from a different email. Is there a way to clean up something like this? I shut down TB and waited and reopened and the issue stays the same.

The Not Responding stuff, plus this, has me looking for an alternative.

Hi, My Firefox of recent is extremely slow or sometimes fails to load a page. I thought it could be some extensions I added about protection from tracking etc...I tried disabling them, but not sure if I succeeded. But the problem still isn't fixed. I don't think I will figure the issue out. Thanks

When you're going to fix the Ctrl + C issue?!

I'm sick and tired of restarting your f*g browser each time I need to paste something in a form on a page. It's frozen each time I press Ctrl+C somewhere outside your browser and return to it. I am forced to close it and restart it! It's been a year since this bug or even more.

I have two mail accounts on Thunderbird. When I download messages to one account, the messages are automatically marked as read. Messages to the other account are not.

I do not use BitDefender.

Any thoughts on why it does it to one but not the other? Messages are both downloaded from the same ISP.

Hi, As of yesterday I am unable to send emails out. I keep getting this message below. I have gmail on same computer and that works fine. I am able to receive emails but can't send. Please help

I have Firefox as my browser on my laptop. Today I have been getting numerous pop-up messages from McAfee (which I do not have- I use a different web defense app) saying I need to renew my subscription or virus detected. Nothing I do gets rid of these pop-ups, which keep coming back (see example below) . How can I stop this from occurring? HELP!!

As of 21/11/2023, I can no longer use several chat services that had previously worked on Firefox, for example Santander bank and EDF. Plus, the POWR widget has stopped working on one of my favourite websites.... it used to pull in the charity's Facebook content but now all I see is the text and no imagery. Greetings! This morning, I suddenly cannot send emails. I am using Tbird 120.0 for my Spectrum Road Runner account. No problem receiving emails and no problem getting onto webmail where I can send and receive. And I am getting this error message when I attempt to send:

Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail: Outgoing server (SMTP) error. The server responded: p-impout005.msg.pkvw.co.charter.net cmsmtp Connection Rejected - see http://www.spamhaus.org/query/ip/76.37.3.140 AUP#Out-1220.

I've checked my account settings and don't see anything untoward and have changed nothing. Admittedly, I am no expert but have done my best to check on FAQs and possible similar sounding issues.

Any thoughts?

my ff browser won't open the following websites:

https://www.haaretz.com/ (here it says: Error 54113) and https://archive.ph/ (this won't open at all without any notification)

Could you please let me know how get them to open?
