When I enter names in the "To:" line, the Daily doesn't search the Address Book for email like the release version does. This has happened with all of the Daily's for the several months I've tried them. I'd really like to have a stable 64-bit version and the Daily works with this exception.

I have had to format my hard drive because of virus problems. I have a backup of the above version of Thunderbird which will re-install all my existing settings & emails. It will only work on version 45.5.0 (en-GB)! I have tried searching the internet & have only managed to download the US version, which is not compatible with my back-up! Please can anyone help?

when sending a message in Thunderbird, my sent folder always shows two messages sent, why is this and how can it be fixed? I have been through settings and cannot find any obvious setting that could be set to do or change this duplication in sending mail. Can you please advise? Bernibabe.

I used to use thunderbird on my xp computer. Have been forced to move over to windows 10 and downloaded the tuhnedrcdbe program. how can I set up three email accounts with ease - as I used to be able to do ? Or is there a good alternative to thunderbird itself

Some while way back when I created & exported my address book as an LDIF file, lots of these links had the option for show remote content checked. As the list has grown the file has been re-exported as LDIF to keep it up to date

When I import the file for a clean profile, the remote content check box's have been reset. Needless to say as the list grows the number of contacts to reset also.

Is this unchecked by default for security reasons, Setting stored in some other file? Any way to import with this setting in tact

I just began using Thunderbird for my email as I'm so sick of "Comcast/Xfinity" dumping advertising and other junk on my computer when I just want to get to my Comcast email. I have customized Thunderbird email (options, etc.) to display the way I want. However, I am using a shared computer that I've set up to require login to several user or the Admin accounts and now T-Bird puts up a notification on my user account (on the Windows Login screen) of new email having arrived and how many new emails I have. I do not necessarily want other users to know if I have new email and how many new messages I have. Is there a way to turn this "feature" off? I don't see any option in any of the T-Bird tools.

Op mijn desktop werkt thunderburd in het geheel niet en is zeer traag, werkt voor geen meter.  Ik krijg telkens de melding, Thunderburd reageerd niet. Op mijn laptop werkt het normal. Hoe kan dat. Bijde computers hebben Windows 7
