I made the mistake up upgrading to the latest beta, not realizing it would convert my datafile to a different format and you can't go backward. I have done recovery over the years, but all the help refers to the old formats. Opening TB just causes it to hang. I have a large thunderbird file with a lot of files. I thought maybe a folder that I use a lot was too large so I tried splitting it in 2 but it has been unable to sync those since I moved them. Instead my whole computer hung and it turned out 400+MB was being taken by a folder which gets created when a folder can't finish compressing, but I had no choice but to delete that because my computer wouldn't function. In the past when a folder wasn't working right I would delete the folder index file and it would rebuilt the index and re-built that folder. Now all of my folders have mozmsgs but only some have sbd's. And the new folder isn't even there, although it's showing in my TB app when it opens.

I need to know what types of files I should delete in order to have my folders re-sync to the server.

I copied my Thunderbird profile to a tape drive, went to troubleshooting, profile, open folder and pasted my .map files which were abook-1.map, abook-2.map through abook-10. Restarted Thunderbird and files did not convert to .sqlite. How do I proceed to restore addresses?

My gmail account function in Google workspace will be disabled in the No Cost Plan for google workspace. What will happen to the emails that were already imported to Thunderbird? Can I still open them? reply via thundersbird?

I got a new Acer laptop with windows 11 (64bit). I downloaded FF but when I open it, it just gives a blank page. If I type in an address nothing happens. I have tried reinstalling but nothing seems to work

I recently purchased a dell refurbished computer, I set it up went and downloaded fire fox without any trouble. I restarted computer today and it would not accept password I called DiscountcomputerDepot.com help and they helped me to restart and they told me they would have to reinstall windows from computer. So I lost all my programs. when it restarted said would have to update windows. I'm getting this when I try to install Thunderbird: "Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible". I don't know what to do. Hope someone can help. thanks, Fred
