NOBODY is interested in firefox Android loading mobile websites when not on mobile data and when on a screen bigger then 10 inch.......can you finally do the wright thing.... 1)add a simple switch for always desktop mode for every website....i am not the first one and i am sure i am not the only one who is tired of ur excuuses not to add a switch......https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1286164.......bydeway the instruction s you gave didint work.....not that it mathers cuz it should be build in.....imagine if you brought ur car to the workshop...and the technician comes to you handles you a wrenge and tells you how to manualy change compression in ur cilinders.............if you managed to not break ur engine i am pretty sure you going to rate the workshop as 5 stars for customer service...where did the time go where the customer decidit what features he wanted in a product....... 2)second let firefox Android check resolution after first instal...so bye default place the switch to desktop mode after high resolution tablet/detection 3)enable background playing while on other tab.....like brave supports

If the above issues dont get solvedi will uninstall firefox......

I posted a similar request here: https://mozilla.crowdicity.com/post/742615, because "Submit Feedback" link redirected me there. Maybe this is the right place for the feedback.

The release note of FF Ver:93 states this:"When available system memory is critically low, Firefox on Windows will automatically unload tabs based on their last access time, memory usage, and other attributes. This should help reduce Firefox out-of-memory crashes. Switching to an unloaded tab automatically reloads it."

This is something those of us with modest RAM (4GB, in my case) have been waiting for, for quite a while. But, FF continues to hog significant memory in spite of the claimed changes as above. I don't see any perceivable changes to my system performance thus far even a few days since the update. The issue, as you'd know better, elevated RAM usage invariably causes a continual spike in Paging, leading to excessive Disk (HDD) usage > resulting in an unresponsive system, which eventually ends up in a system freeze (in my case at least). The only way out being a hard power-down and restart of the system.

I have also set the "Content process limit" to 4 in the settings to no avail. We'd appreciate if you could configure FF behavior to adapt when system resources are low than wait for things to be critical.

Hello, My school uses Google workspace. The logo of my schools appears as a broken image in Gmail/Google drive etc. when I use Mozilla Firefox (Ver 93.0) to login into my account. The problem does not happen if I use other browsers like Chrome or Microsoft edge. Could you please look into this problem. I am attaching a screenshot.

On certain pages, the rendering is completely off. For example, on Vimeo.com, all the text is gone (see attached pics). I tried Refresh Firefox, but the problem persists. I tried Troubleshoot Mode and that fixes the problem. But when I restart and disable all of my extensions, the problem continues.

This only happens on my work computer Firefox. The Firefox versions at home on multiple computers work just fine.

Any thoughts?

Hello. Starting yesterday, Firefox has stopped playing audio from every website and even local files. Yes, I read this article and no, the sound is not being muted instead the sound just refuses to play. In the screenshot, it shows that the "play" "mute" and speed option are greyed out. Also, I tried using safe mode and audio still wouldn't play. What should I do?

What is the way to turn off the daily firefox update popup nag on MacOS? I've noticed Mozilla is heavy handed at shoving updates down your throat that break things but always come up short on communicating what changes were made. The last update broke printing and now it takes 2 minutes for timeout to occur every time I want to print a page. So I know there is a large community of users who want to turn off update nags, suppose every one of those users submitted a new complaint on a daily basis to nag Mozilla to turn the f*cking update nag off. What will it take?

Ever since I updated, typing has become incredibly challenging... There's big delays in the words showing up, letters come out in the wrong places, & it doesn't improve even when I clear cache, clear memory, & refresh pages. I don't know what else to do. Should I delete and re-install Firefox, or replace this with the previous version?

I use FF 93.0 on Linux Mint. Sometimes I click on a link and it leads to a PDF file. It then downloads the file, makes hardly any sign that it completed and just sits there. On another computer of mine, FF downloads the file, opens the PDF viewer but does not activate the PDF viewer window.

How can I specify a default PDF viewer such that it always opens the PDF in the specified viewer and for other odd files, it asks me what program to use?

MS Windows 10, Firefox v.18.5.0.0 - "Changes not Saved. An unexpected error has prevented your changes from being saved."

Sorry, I suspect this is an often asked question, but after endless searching on this site, and trying many old solutions, I still can not create, save, and use a User Profile. [See uploaded photo]

First, when I explore my C:\Users\Bud Parker\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles folder I find empty folders named for the many times I have attempted to recreate a usable Firefox profile. There is no JSON File or anything else in any of the folders. Hence, it appears I cannot save a created profile. Of course, if it isn't saved in the appropriate location - I'm dead in the water.

I tried saving one on my Desktop and using it, all to no avail. In past, I've run some aggressive maintenance programs cleaning up Windows, but I could always enter Firefox. Of course, that does not mean it didn't finally occur...

By the way, I can use a Portable version of Firefox, just not an installed version. I completely uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it with the current version. Still nothing.

So, now I ask the Mozilla Brain Trust for assistance. Let me say in advance that I appreciate you reading and thinking about this,

Bud

There has been a legitimate issue with the bookmarks since the 92.0 update. This applies only to Windows 7 users. The list is very lazy and will actually freeze up. It takes forever to highlight the bookmark you want and the favicons are delayed in populating. Refreshing Firefox doesn't work. Renaming favicons.sqlite and places.sqlite, and those with the -shm and -wal extensions, if existing, doesn't work either. I don't need help from contributors. The following message is to the developers &/or whoever bastardized Firefox since the 92.0 update...

As I stated, this is a Windows 7 issue. The developers should fix this problem for us Windows 7 users. It was them who caused this issue since the 92.0 update. Everything worked perfect until then. Here’s a bright idea for the developers. How about getting this matter fixed, so that us Windows 7 users can have the same functionality as everyone else. Stop screwing around with a million and one updates every year. You people are doing more harm than good. The people running Chrome are a hell of a lot more intelligent. No issues whatsoever with Windows 7! Try that on for size.

Hi I know you can just click on a tab and drag it to the left or right to sort out order etc. But I recall in the past, or maybe it was a different browser I'm not sure, but the little down arrow at the top left of the firefox browser that drops down a list of your opened tabs, I recall being able to click on one and move it up and down which is much quicker and easier. Maybe its the bookmarks I'm thinking of that lets you do this. But yes, is there a way to move tabs up and down in that window, or any extentions out there that enable such a feature. Thanks for the help.
