So why? You see I have asked questions before..... I have replied before...... It occurs to me that if Mozilla is using Gmail as their sender then perhaps this is a good way for Google to extract information about me.

Perhaps i am somewhat cynical and Mozilla is just trying to be nice...... I have used Firefox it seems like forever.......from Netscape navigator through all the iterations to the present apparent converging on the layout/format with those other browsers. Is this going to be another Thunderbird moment where decisions made about the formatting just happened to follow Gmail & Outlook....well I no longer use Thunderbird, so perhaps its time to say goodbye to Firefox.

I find now that Thunderbird requires Earthlink's password each time an email is sent. Earlier it required it once a day. I am on Windows 11 using Earthlink.net for provider.

Hello, I am using Firefox on my phone to open Facebook. When I try to upload my ID to recover my suspended Facebook account, I get an error "Something went wrong".

Hello Guys; Since ages I use Mozilla email product (started with Navigator...). And I only use POP3 accounts so I've a lot of emails stored on my computer. Fine. I've imported my settings into Thunderbird for Android with success but this leave the data behind. How could I store my email folder on my phone and where to put it ? PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH ME. I am elderly, and am struggling greatly. Within the last week, I can’t send emails from my Mozilla account. I have a BT email address ie btinternet.com. When sending, it comes up with Login to server mail.btinternet.com wth username (my email address) failed. This is followed by Unable to authenticate to outgoing server (SMTP) Please check the password and verify the authentication method in account settings / outgoing server SMTP.

I was on the phone to BT for three hours yesterday and they were so lovely and patient, they set me up wth a BT email app, however all of my folders with my vital bits and bobs are on Mozilla. Please could someone help me

Hello, I use KeePassXC as a password manager, and it has a companion Firefox extension called "keepassxc_browser".

Since it's a password manager, I need it to work on all webpages, even restricted ones like the Mozilla account webpage. That's why I've allowed the extension to run on sites with restrictions, as described here. But: Even after enabling that setting for the extension, keepassxc_browser still won't work on accounts.firefox.com. Only after setting `extensions.quarantinedDomains.enabled` to `false` in `about:config`, keepassxc_browser started working on the Mozilla account webpage. But of course doing this opens restricted websites to ALL extensions, which is quite a security hole. So, why "run on sites with restrictions" does not work?

I am attempting to copy apps from my iPhone to an new android tablet. It wants me to open Safari and use it, but I do not have Safari, it was removed when I downloaded Firefox. What do I do now? Is it actually on the Mozilla site? And, if so, where might I find it on the Mozella site?

about every 15 to 20 minutes I hear a tone from the speaker and then Firefox crashes, on some occasions another msg box briefly appears saying something about Microsoft windows but then it disappears before it can be read fully.

I don't understand why auto:config is so difficult (for me at least) to create. Isn't there an easier way? I've tried following the directions and creating the 2 files. But I can't manage to successfully create auto:config.

I created and pasted the first tile into the prefs folder. For the 2nd, I noticed the firefox.cfg file I created in Notepad appended a .txt suffix. I pasted it into the Firefox top directory. Then typed auto:config into the address bar. Nothing happened. Can anyone tell what I did wrong? Is the .txt suffix not recognized? Or is there's an easier way to do this?

I finished building my Linux PC yesterday. I got Linux Mint, all that good stuff. But when I try to log into Thunderbird Mail with my iCloud account, it says it's in the database and I select IMAP and then it says "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password."

I've asked this question before, but have gotten no response. Maybe I'm not explaining it clearly enough. I will try again. When I name a new file folder, how do I get it in the correct alphabetical order? I end up making it a subfolder in under another incorrect folder or it does not get in correct alphabetical order. I hope this is clearer to understand. I just don't know how to make it any plainer. Thank you for your kind response.

I currently have Version 115.37.0esr (64-bit). When I click Check For Updates, it says I'm updated to the current version, but apparently the current version is 152.0.6. Why can't I get this version?

The main issue is search bar readability. This problem is not present in the Nightly version. The background is the same colour as the text. Another issue is that on regular Firefox, all my pinned apps and squashed towards the bottom of the screen. Again, this problem is not present on Nightly. Finally, a problem that is present in both Firefox and Nightly, the "close tab" button in vertical tabs mode is cut off by the sides of the floating tab bar.
