Hello... EVERY time I try to sign into my Yahoo email, I have to go through hoops to actually get there. When I click the box that says ...never ask on this device again, your system ignores it. This "Added Security" is not helpful. nor is it adding any security to anything. All you are doing is making me look for other web browsers. Google Chrome does not do this. Safari does not do this. Opera does not do this. I do not need to be contacted via text message, OR ANY OTHER WAY, to gain access to MY email account. Stop holding me hostage!!

Please tell me how to get rid of this absolutely horrible "feature."

I really like & trust Firefox ! Would like to know about all the privacy settings I should have & probably don't ! Doubt I have updated much as I should have recently. Would appreciate any assistance. Thanks, Firefox !

I recently bought a new computer and had my data transferred from the old one, but the vast majority of my passwords have disappeared. Even after copying the logins.json and key4.db files from the "Old Firefox Data" folder, I was only able to recover 8 of my 50+ passwords. I can’t even manually change my passwords one-by-one because I don’t even remember all of my accounts, let alone my passwords.

Please help me.

Hi, I got a new computer and need to sign in to my account but can't remember my long, auto-generated PW. How can I reset with out losing all my data? Is it possible to talk to a human on the phone? thanks, Tyler

Where or to whom can I send a request / recommendation / beg to get the Firefox browser actually to change something? I know what the community will say -- asked and answered. And no disrespect to the community at all -- it's very valuable and has been helpful to me -- but I am interested in putting this request before someone at Mozilla / Firefox who actually has the authority to decide it and do it.

FYI, not to be too mysterious about it, I think the Privacy & Security setting on Notifications would be improved by putting in a permanent option to let a user stop notifications when he or she has taken a screen shot. Allowing it to be paused now requires the user to go back in and change the setting each time he or she opens Firefox. For me, that's dozens of times a day.

On a broader scale, why not give the user the option permanently? We are, I hope, a land and community of people who prefer choice over mandates, even partial ones, when the substance of the choice or mandate does not pose a risk to others.

I was changing my passcode to make it stronger and accidentally hit the button before I was through. I knowthe code had the #'s 6869 in it,but I've tried every combination I can think it might have been, but no luck. Can you please help me. Thanks, Bill Morgan

Nothing has been changed windows updates, etc., that I am aware of? I have attached the error message I am receiving. I have already, checked my gmail account online, and all the settings are correct. I also uninstalled thunderbird, and restarted my computer, and reinstalled thunderbird, no help? So, I have a different computer that I was setting up for someone else. As a test I installed Thunderbird same version and added the user account to it that was causing me issues. It works correctly! Connects to imap/smtp no problems, but on the computer I need it to work from it does not? So I am guessing the error it is not strictly on Gmail side? Also, might not even be Thunderbird? Just not sure what is happening behind the scenes, as far as, what the process is when the computer/thunderbird sends out a request to gmail to connect to it's mail servers? Could it be some type of network card or hardware issue/glitch? Everything else appears to be working correctly on the internet.

Provisioning link for RingFree Communications Windows 10 desktop softphone not working in Firefox on windows but works on MAC ??? Has anyone found a work around for this ?

The weird thing....Running Firefox 99.0.1 on a MAC it works fine, but fails everytime for windows. Clicking the provisioning link from my outlook email opening in firefox. Upon clicking on the provisioning like it fails to provision the Ring Freesoft Windows 10 Softphone Desktop client... It works for Chrome and Internet Edge PLEASE HELP

How do i protect cookies from being deleted in mozilla firefox? I have one account that "doesn't recognize my device" when I enter my user name and password, and requires them to contact me with a code every time I try to log in...It is very annoying!!

Good afternoon. My name is Tito, I had a lot of logins and passwords for the most of the sites saved in the firefox passwords. I went to another country for vacation and for some reason i lost all of my saved logins. Is there anyway to recover it. one of the advantages of having saved logins nowadays, and because all the passwords get more complex is to save it and in case we forgot we can always check it.. is there anyway i can recover it?? Help continuously mentions something about clicking a "shield" to the left of the address bar, yet my up to date Firefox shows no "shield" anywhere i can find. Has an update obviated the need for it, and if so, do we have updated help files to reflect the new control for security, vpn and cookie usage?

I have 98.0.2 running. I have selected delete cookies and site data on close, but for the past couple of weeks I have noticed that it is not clearing cookies. I am running no add-ons and I am not running in private browsing. This has worked previously.
