Basically, I'm aware there's a quick option to transfer data between one browser to another as long as they are on the same device, but I wanna do the same for two different devices. I'd like to transfer my passwords, history, bookmarks, settings and themes. Is there a quick and easy way to do that?

I'm building a new laptop to replace my old, and have both installed Thunderbird on the new computer and have copied over the entire MAIL folder for my Profile.
All my subfolders appear and all seem to contain what they should...except my INBOX. The INBOX appears, but it is empty. The INBOX file that came over with what I migrated is around 2.9MB, so it sure isn't empty.
How do I fix this to be able to use my new laptop with my proper INBOX?

I'm running Thunderbird 115.8.1 (64-bit). On Jan. 29 I left the beta program after several years to return to the release version because of problems with the beta at that time.
Last year, still in TB Beta, I had switched my two email accounts from POP to IMAP. At that time I moved all my mail folders (except inbox, trash, and other system folders), and about 14 years of archives, to the Local Folders account to avoid the cost of storing them on a mail server. There were no problems. At year end I archived my 2023 emails from my folders in Local Folders to my archive in Local Folders, preserving the folder structure, and everything worked normally.
When I left TB Beta a month later I tried to replicate my folders, including the archive folder, in the new profile for TB 115. Then I manually moved folders from my TB beta profile to my new profile folder (C:/Users/billf/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/84xm6dz9.default-release/Mail/Local Folders/). The folders showed up within Thunderbird, then some of them disappeared briefly but then reappeared. A few days later about 80% of my folders, including the archive folder, vanished completely and haven't returned. I checked the file system and they were gone.
Today I tried again, restoring several .sbd folders and .msf files - most importantly the archive - from my HD backup from mid-February when everything had seemed to be working. They're still in the file system - so far - but none of these folders are now visible in TB. The account settings for Local Folders don't mention archiving at all.
I hope someone can tell me how to get my old folders and especially the archive back, and stable. (As I rebuild my folder structure in TB I'm giving the folders new names so they won't be overwritten if my folders from January come back.)

The setup screen popped up when I tried to start Thunderbird. I had to reset Windows 10 and doing so my Thunderbird disappeared. I am using High Contrast mode and sometimes white text gets hidden in a background color. I was kind of expecting a text message. As I progressed through the set up screen I get error messages when I try to click on Done. Above the Done box is some blue text that I can't read clearly. The blue text generates a message about IMAP already being there when I click on Done. There appears to be no correct way to click on Done. When I click on Cancel my email pops up with Local Folders highlighted. When I click on Inbox it looks like every thing is back to normal. I do want to ask someone to add a vertical scrollbar to the setup screen. Otherwise I have to go through the Windows Setting screens to resize everything to get it to fit on my desktop. This also requires changing my font size for some reason. At this point I am becoming really frustrated with Windows 10 - which Mozilla has nothing to do with.

I've been facing a big issue with downloading files on firefox android, i have an android 11 and i have a good wifi connection. whenever i download a file it'll suddenly disappear once it reaches 50%, if i ever download an APK it won't download in the correct format, instead of having .apk at the end of the file it'll usually has some other codes or numbers
and i really hate how you can't view pending downloads in the download section, you can only view finished downloads and this can be very frustrating especially when you want to see what happened to the pending files. whenever i accidentally close the app it won't continue downloading the files ( i always get a notification for downloads, but when i close the app it disappears, this didn't happen before) however when i re-open the app i won't have any option to continue the download.

I deleted Firefox from my Windows 11 computer because it was having issues. I reinstalled but I did not get back the same settings I have on my laptop. I have tried to do a complete uninstall and remove all Firefox files but, there are files attached to my Avast antivirus that I can't delete. Also when I down load it wont Sync. Firefox is my browser of preference and I do not want to use another browser. I should also note that Firefox has been completely removed from program files, program files(x86) as well as program data but there are still file in Avast and Windows. See picture attached. Help I really love Firefox

I just got a new laptop and installed Thunderbird, which I've had for years. Tons of contacts, using two email addresses. One is with Spectrum and the other is through Bluehost (my website).
I was able to figure out how to download the emails from Spectrum, but when I click on email, I get empty box, no details within the email. What happened?
Also, I don't have any contacts. Where did all my contacts go?
Please help. Email is my lifeblood with work. I'm also self-employed, so no technical help from employer.

I recently migrated two of my email accounts to a new laptop using Thunderbird, and I've encountered an issue with the search functionality. Although I can successfully search and find emails, the count for emails "To me" and "From me" incorrectly shows as "0" despite there being visible emails that were sent from my old laptop. This issue is affecting my ability to track sent and received emails accurately. Could you please assist me in resolving this discrepancy?
