I had issues with my computer which got me into a situation where i had to delete all partitions of my drives, starting from 0. Signing in my firefox account in a fresh win install suddenly recovers NOTHING and i am now panicking as i had very important accounts & passwords, bookmarks, tabs, extensions, etc. I have tried other devices too without any luck. I need help recovering all these asap.

My issue is that I have a huge amount of likes in my Instagram interactions and I would prefer to not have to just manually scroll. There are extensions that if the scrollbar is at the edge of my browser screen they all work. but sadly if its a scrollbar not at the edge of my browser screen they do not take affect.

just inform me what you need me to get to get from the body inspect element in order to know what element is the scrollbar i will do that for you!

i just want this to be able to be autoscrolled, but the extensions wont do it

In the image below you will see a large photo with thumbnails to its left. I should be able to "mouse-over" the thumbnails to access the related image, or simply click it... but yesterday that all stopped working in Firefox. I just installed "Brave" and it all works fine. Was there an update change that could cause the function to stop working? I was trying to save a mail message into a Local Folder, and Firefox produced the following pop-up message:

Error - bsn on Local Folders There is not enough disk space to download new messages. Try deleting old mail, emptying the Trash folder, and compacting your mail folders, and then try again.

I assumed that my C-drive was full, so I deleted a large file. The same message appeared. Then,after I realized that I could save messages into other Local Folders, I looked in the Local Folders directory. I saw that there was a file bsn.msf, but the bsn file was missing. I am restoring it from a backup from nine days ago. The pop-up message is clearly wrong/misleading. I am running 118.0.1 on Windows 10 Professional 22H2 64-bit. I see that I need to upgrade to 118.0.2, which I will do as soon as I finish entering this bug report.

To whom this may concern, I am requiring about getting back bookmarks I recently just lost. I had a list close to 3000 of them, however I reformatted my PC and found out there weren't being synced recently and don't have the bookmark backups in my file list anywhere. Have tried many data recovery software to no avail, if there's a possibility I could have access to my last few bookmark updates to the cloud that would save many headaches Thanking you

i posted a crash question yesterday and got an email asking me to post these the time is the same i assume because i hit "submit" at the same time for all of them i'm posting blind here because there was no link in the email back to my original post - maybe something else that should be fixed

Took me a long time to nail this issue down. Recently (past 1-2 years?), Firefox has started suggesting the base website when you have bookmarks that include the base domain - and it's really bothersome from a UX perspective. E.g. if i have "adobe.com/express" or any other adobe bookmarks, the FIRST autocompleted url Firefox gives me is "adobe.com" which I DO NOT have as a bookmark. In my Firefox settings I also have Shortcuts and other search suggestions disabled.

Why is Firefox doing this?

I have found that Firefox does not play some audio files, for instance on Wikipedia and WaniKani, such as the audio on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erhu and https://www.wanikani.com/vocabulary/%E9%9F%B3. When inspecting network activity I can see that an attempt is made to load the audio on Wikipedia, but it does not play. On WaniKani however, no attempt is made. (WaniKani uses .webm for sound, maybe that has something to do with it?) The problem appeared after the update to Firefox 118 and persists in private browsing and troubleshooting mode, but does not occur in GNOME Web.

I have used your services like Firefox for years because I believe in your privacy policy. My advances to change my bank password online are useless, as soon as I fill out the information the web page I click submit and they redirect me to the previous page where it is blank again while I'm on incognito on Firefox. One simple password reset that takes 1 minute becomes a whole afternoon of loss and frustration. All because I wanted to report a concern about the drinking water in my area might have been contaminated. I believe in freedom of speech and the right to use the web privately. These people interfere with the settings on incognito mode and save my history. Use my private information on Facebook messenger , all on your private browsing Firefox app, inappropriately to influence my husband to leave me which they have accomplished. I am extremely insulted to be an American citizen today. We are suppose to respect the constitutional rights of all United States citizens and I can not understand why they chose to harass me? Honestly I believe this is a hate crime because I am Hispanic and Apache Natiive American Indian. I mean I hate to remind you that your company also runs the risk of a lawsuit that can impact this company for someone else's ignorance? This is why I am contacting you to please give my situation some attention and to take this serious. I have tons of screenshots and cell phone that have been disabled different devices connected to my Gmail. Just tons of hard evidenceas where my previous employer was sending me to a remote locations in Caldwell where I was monitored by recording video cameras in side the home. I have an older laptop with very little memory, so I keep Firefox closed when I'm not using it. Both MS Hearts and MS Mahjong periodically open it to display their webpages. That brings play to a halt, and the game freezes, and sometimes crashes. Is there a way to block them from opening Firefox?

I'm using Firefox on windows 11 home 22H2. After the recent update to 118.0 I've been unable to load yahoo.com.

I tried the following: Disabled addons Disabled firewall Restarted firefox Restarted computer Restarted firefox in troubleshoot mode

I'm out of ideas except for a downgrade maybe.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Often, I am unable to submit with Foxfire. Usually, I disable a mess of blocking/privacy settings, and sometimes this works. Not today. The annoying ReCapta pictures/bridges/bicycles/sidewalks never showed. Never. Selecting the submission button failed to cause any kind of a reaction. Finally, had to use Chrome. What gives? Can this be fixed?

Oh, yeah, I'm a retired wildlife biologist, not a programmer, so please dumb it down.
