Until yesterday everything was fine. I was able to complete recaptcha. But when I tried searching something today, I couldn't do it because of the recaptcha. It was stuck on infinite loading. Every website I visited the problem was there. I tried fixing it from the tips I found in the forum here but nothing seems to work. I was frustrated. Then I tried Brave browser and it was working. Please help me fix this problem. Thank you.

I recently downloaded and installed Thunderbird but forgot my primary password. Have tried the solutions available at the Mozilla website with no luck. I have also deleted the program and my Mozilla account, and started over from scratch. Still no luck.

Hello, Firefox randomly downloaded a file, with seemingly randomly name, that is 0 bytes and in download manager the source is moz-safe-about. It happened when I was accessing a popular wiki site. I opened the file in notepad, it was empty. I put it on virus total and came back negative, as it is an empty file. I've curbed through the support tickets here, using the keyphrase 'moz-safe-about'. I understand this was/is quite a common problem, but it still makes me quite worried and left a sour taste in my mouth, as I haven't understood any of the explanations. I have enabled firefox to ask me whenever it wants to save something (I have no idea why this isnt the default state). Happened on a somewhat fresh, updated win 11 installation. I'm also attaching more information here with a picture. Long story short: should I be worried? Am I overreacting and this is just some sort of a bug that occurred while getting a sites data? I used to be able to print my usernames and password list. I can only see it in an abbreviated form using the latest Thunderbird revision (with Microsoft). Any suggestions?

I'm trying to give permission to a website to use my microphone, but if I copy in the web address, the "Allow" button doesn't appear & so when I hit "save changes" nothing happens.

the Ask to Save Website Passwords Option keeps Deselecting itself, it will not stay selected

Because of that, the Auto fill Username & Password fields do not populate.

I have already Uninstalled Firefox, removed all files from my system, deleted all Firefox App Data from my system, Reinstalled Firefox from Scratch, reconfigured all, but can not get this working correctly

Hi, I want to delete my acccount entirely and start fresh, I login to the website just fine, but when going to the "Delete Account" button I keep getting an "Incorrect Password" pop-up.

I've changed the password twice now, logged in just FINE, yet keep getting told I'm using the incorrect password when trying to delete my account.

I've tried on multiple different browsers now to delete the account and it's just not working.

I really wanted to swap over to Firefox but everytime I try, I get some insanely stupid issue that never ends up being resolved, I've found another thread from 2021 about this and they stated it never got fixed and they had to make a whole new email just to use the service.

My Windows Task Scheduler contains an entry called "Firefox Default Browser Agent". If I delete it, it returns. If I disable it, it re-enables itself. Can't be modified either. How do I turn it off permanently?

I already have telemetry and automatic updates both turned off.

In about:config default-browser-agent.enabled is set to false

How do I get Firefox to stop suggesting my email address, city, state or other information on lines for logins or applications? I have turned off all the autofill selections in security and privacy and it still offers suggestions. I don't want any suggestions AT ALL.

Can anyone tell me how to blacklist incoming emails from selected addresses?

I can get T-bird to send unwanted emails to the "Junk" folder, but there are some that I would prefer not to even show up on my end, but rather delete them before they even get here (Facebook being the prime offender - hundreds of people I have never even heard of sending baby photos, etc.).

I contacted my ISP and was told that I needed to do this from the T-bird end. I cannot find anything in the Support section that addresses this problem. Thank you, Wolfgang

I just updated to Firefox 120, and tried the new GPC setting (Tell websites not to sell or share my data). I ran into a problem when I went to the Xfinity community forums (https://forums.xfinity.com/) . It causes a banner on top showing they recognize the setting. There is an "X" in the corner, and some text that says "Hide this banner", but they are not active. Plus, I cannot make a new post or do a general reply (that weird forum software has both local replies to a particular post and general replies to the general thread.)

Is this a bug in Firefox, or a bug in their forum software? I attached a picture of the message it gives.

I have search separated from the url bar, and I have Firefox Suggest configured to only use history for tab completion. I've noticed a couple problems.

• Search is being prioritized over options in my history. I have the separate search box, if I wanted to search I would use it. If I type a single character I want the most common result from my history to be the result of hitting tab.
• I've noticed recently that I'm getting sponsored results even though I have them disabled. It's somewhat inconsistent, and I've only noticed it in one of my profiles. Specifically I am used to "w <tab>" taking me to weather.gov but I'm getting sponsored results for AccuWeather. I clicked the "feedback -> not interested" button but this is concerning that Firefox is ignoring preferences and there's a pattern of sending data to Google and AccuWeather despite me configuring the browser not to.
