I'm trying to sync my bookmarks from Firefox mobile (Android) to my laptop (Dell) for the first time but there's no "Sync and save data" option under the dot menu on my phone nor is there any equivalent that I can find. How do I proceed?

Hi. So for quite a few months I've been experiencing two issues relating to the Firefox auto fill for login details.

Issue 1. When you visit a website sign in page the "Suggested logins" box pops up at the bottom (all normal). But then when you login the box won't go away. I can navigate to somewhere new in same tab or switch to another tab already open and the box won't disappear. To get rid of it I need to open a new tab and go to a new webpage, then I can go back to my already open tab.

Issue 2. The "Suggested logins" auto fill for sign in fields on a webpage won't work. This issue started around the same time as the first and is not on every website but a few including Google Account sign in which I use a lot. I will navigate to a sign in page, the Suggested logins box pops up, I select the login I want, but then it won't fill it in.

I've tried reinstalling the Firefox app, but it didn't work. I've kept using the app despite dealing with this everyday. They may be small bugs but they do get tedious after months of it daily. I was hoping an app update would fix the problem but no update has. So I thought I would share, see if its just me.

I am trying to move all the synced tabs brought in from android chrome and Firefox pc into the current active tabs I have on Firefox android.

I've only been able to get 1 at a time to move over, but I have well over a hundred open in putting the two other browsers together..

Everything I've been able to look up about it only deals either the syncing part.

And, is there a way to have am active sync? As in, I open a tab in Firefox on laptop, it opens that tab on my Firefox mobile? And vice versa.

Using FF 101 on Andtoid phone. If I do not use Android's "general" PW then how do I protect FF PWs if I

lend to a friend for a minute? There's no primary PW. So how's it done? Is there any change FF will ever have a primary (master) PW again? Thanks

The subject field basically. There is a button in the address field on some sites and it's very annoying to accidentally press the toggle now and again. I tried disabling it via about:config but no dice.

Hello, I recently tried to create an account to sync everything in firefox on my phone, but after a few attempts the account page just wouldn't load, so I decided to update the app because it was quite some time ago since I last updated it.

But right after the update, everything's gone: bookmarks, history, tabs. I was brought to a getting started page like I never installed firefox. I checked the bookmarks/history options but nothing was there. Shouldn't the app preserve its existing data even after an update? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Recent update causes all pdf links to be opened in Firefox on Android with no option to download, and no setting to choose a default behavior. They're was another person who asked a similar question and was told to use the "Share" option and then "Save as PDF" - this doesn't work. Another advise given was long-pressing on the PDF link and choosing to save target - it won't work when I am pasting the pdf link into the address bar, which is how I do it primarily. I'm stuck using the Open in External App, which opens the pdf in Google drive, then having the option of saving the file. So many unnecessary steps. Please fix.

Firefox notifications permissions are either all off or all on, whereas Chrome offers choices of permitted sites which is ideal and entirely sensible. Could this failing be fixed?

For the past few weeks builds, downloading image from any website is weirdly triggering a crash of com.android.phone due to which mobile network is lost as well. Using Samsung Galaxy Note9.

Windows 10 pc can not start,I have gone through automatic repair and diagnostics steps,but am now on advamced options and think I need to Reset it.This will lose Firefox.When I install it again will I be able to sign into my Firefox account to retrieve bookmarks and passwords?I am very nervous about this,don't even know how to install Firefox,as someone gave me the computer and it was already in there. I'm having a problem with playing videos on websites. When I click the expand to full screen button about half the time the full screen video comes up for half a second and then the window shrinks down to a small square on the bottom right-hand corner of my screen. Sort of like when the youtube app minimizes a video. This window is unclickable and also everything at or below it in android is unclickable while it's there. If I click the window button on android and swipe the firefox app up to close it and restart it, Firefox doesn't even close and I can still hear sound from the video. I have to select on the Firefox app again which will restore the full window and then click the full screen button one more time and it will work. This issue is happening on every website I play video on on the Firefox app and it is extremely irritating. I'm about ready to switch to another app if this can't be solved, but Firefox is the only browser that allows ublock origin so I don't want to do that. Can anyone help?

More a Concern or Desire than a question.

Very common these days (2023) are device types - PCs, Cell Phones, etc. Firefox browser is available to (my main interest) Windows PCs and Android Cell Phone. Then their OS, versions, etc. All have many differences so establishing these differences in the beginning of questios and explainations are critical to the assumptions going forward in support.

The moz://a Support (most support forums) overlook this vital step before delving down into the myriad of complex and different option settings and discussions. I'm no professional but am confident that instruction details are likely very specific to the different device/OS, versions, Platforms, etc. That said I am very frustrated to the lack of a definite starting point for research as most if not all that information is useless to ones specific needs.

Hope you can take this to Hart and consider adjusting the Top Level Titles and/or providing Option Filters to better guide users to their specific needs.

A little different but related, in the old DOS days the c:\\ path format was a very useful practice to provide an orientation of where you are logically. It even accommodates a backward or higher level logic projection up into the internet or devices. I'm only amateur in the full understanding but am fairly certain of its existence. These no nonsense logical establishments go a long way in understanding & conveying complex theory. STANDARDS.

When I am finished with a tab and close it, and then close down Firefox app, when I click back into Firefox the tabs that I have closed are still there open. How can I stop this from happening without having to "quit" and clear cache etc all the time? Surely when you close a tab it should stay closed?
