I use tab groups actively and would save much of my work in my ever-growing list of tab groups. I saw today that many of them had disappeared. I wasn't signed into Firefox and nor do I have any different profiles made. I see two tab groups that I made yesterday but none from before that. How could this happen? How do I recover so much of the work I had saved up?

Firefox opens with one empty tab. Forcing me to got to «history -> recently closed windows -> restore» everytime I quit Firefox or shutdown the mac.

In Thunderbird, the "Play a Sound" feature has quit. I changed from 'Use the following sound file' to 'Default system sound for new mail' and back again. That didn't work. I tried changing the file in 'Use the following sound file'. That didn't fix it. I restarted Thunderbird and it was the same. I don't want to uninstall and re-install. Is there a fix?

I can no longer pin extensions/add-ons to the toolbar. My interface does not look like the one in the help section. I don't see a gear, I see three dots. And when I click on the three dots I don't have the option to pin to toolbar.

I am using Firefox 147.0.4 on Mac OS 26.3 Tahoe.

Hello. My name is Chris Bottle and I live in Australia. In the last couple of days I've discovered that I'm unable to send emails. I've checked my IMAP settings are they are all correct. My email provider is Telstra Australia. When I send an email I get a reply back "An error occured while sending email. Outgoing server SMTP error. The server responded; Connection refused - OB119 .103.224.52.151 is blacklisted in Abusix Mail Intelligence and then two lines of text prefixed by https;/lookup.abusix and further text. I checked with Telstra and after much checking they could find nothing their end. I'm not that computer literate and freely admit that this problem has bamboozled me. On my Android phone, I cannot get rid of Firefox pasting from clipboard, even though I have this option turned off in my Firefox settings and what Firefox pasted is not even in my clipboard anymore! When I do copy/paste in other apps, Firefox seems to copy something and if I long press on the search bar in Firefox, it pastes that into the search bar. The only way I can get rid of it is to restart my phone every time. Any help, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I had an issue with my Thundebrid 148.0 (aarch64) running on Mac OS Squoia. I am using it since 2012 and had no issies. But last week when I was trying to empty the trash in the app, it got deleted everything! I had my saved local folder intact. But all IMAP data was errased. Luckily my hostng company were able to restore the back up, but I lost almost a day of emails. Please look into that issue and let me know.

The latest version of Firefox appears to have updated a setting: When selecting a custom search engine in the address bar or search box, you now need to click the mouse three times (click the dropdown button on the left side of the box - select search engine - search); previously, after entering search terms in the search box, you only needed to move the mouse icon below the box to automatically display all search engines, and then click the desired engine to search directly, thus completing the search with just one click.

The old setting was very convenient; while the new setting forces me to click several times every time I want to search for a term in the search bar.

I hope the support team will address and improve this issue.

error printing a pdf thru firefox. it prints with edge. i am trying to report the problem. it fails at 7 of 33 pages and the printer que shows error. firefox latest version Military CF31 MK5 laptop Edition Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2 Installed on 5/28/2023 OS Build 19045.6466 Canon D570 printer Will print with either MS Edge or any pdf reader I tried...busy, cannot continue this It needs looking at

I have been using Mozilla Thunderbird for decades and they have even contributed a small amount of money to Thunderbird periodically. Just within the last two or three days all of a sudden I have been unable to send emails with my phone. I receive emails, but I do not send them.

So I opened up a laptop where I did not have Thunderbird and set it up properly through Spectrum using the incoming and outgoing servers as mail.twc.com. and yes, just like on my phone. I continue to receive new emails, but even with the laptop I was unable to send an email.

I received the message"send message error sending a message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to outgoing server smtp mail.twc.com was lost in the middle of the transaction. Try again."

I contacted Spectrum twice and both times they had me try to send a message through their Web server spectrum.net and that message did go through. Of course then their response is that this has to be a problem with the third-party app meaning Mozilla Thunderbird, and they can’t help with that at all. I sure would appreciate some help because I hate to walk away from Thunderbird as well as change my email address after all of these decades.

In Firefox version 149, there is an issue with print preview behavior for HTML <select> elements. When opening print preview, all <option> items inside a dropdown are displayed and included in the print output.

This behavior differs from Firefox 148, where only the selected option is rendered correctly during print preview.

Steps to reproduce:

- Create an HTML page with a <select> dropdown containing multiple <option> elements. - Select one of the options. - Open print preview (Ctrl + P).

Expected result: Only the selected option should be visible and printed.

Actual result: All options inside the <select> element are displayed and printed.

Impact: This issue breaks the layout of printed documents and makes forms difficult to read, especially when dropdowns contain many options.

When trying to log into my work Microsoft Office 365 account on Firefox, a QR Code is supposed to appear, which I scan with my phone and the MSFT Authenticator app logs me in. This doesn't happen in Firefox but instead says, "Touch your security key to continue with login.microsoft.com. I am not using a security key and they are not allowed by my work. This works fine on Chrome based browsers.

Is there some setting that will fix this or is this a bug with Firefox?

I am having a problem with Firefox. Some websites do not load correctly and certain extensions do not work as expected.

I have already tried restarting Firefox and checking my internet connection, but the issue still happens.

I have finished my setup. But it keeps saying "finish setup" in the upper right corner of the browser. I have completed all the steps. I want to sync this desktop to my mozilla account. What do I do?
