I have a Mac desktop, a laptop with Windows 11, and an Android phone. I have about 120 bookmarks saved. On my Mac, they periodically backup fine and I can restore them if anything goes wonky. My phone and Windows laptop both show all the same bookmarks as the Mac. However, if I go to Manage Bookmarks to restore them on the Windows laptop, it shows many backups have occurred but only 5 bookmarks have been backed up. I have signed out of Firefox on all devices and signed back in. The Windows laptop did one correct backup showing the 120 or so bookmarks, and then every subsequent backup shows only 5 again. After a few weeks, the "correct" backup has been overwritten and is gone.
Anybody know what I can check to make the Windows laptop backup my bookmarks correctly?

The Page Info > Permissions panel has some, but not all the ones I want. Is this somehow built into Firefox, or maybe there's an extension?

Hi. I keep several Firefox tabs open and active on my laptop. Inevitably, Firefox slows down after a week or several weeks and would benefit from a Quit / Restart. But then (I think) I would lose my tabs, which would mean a trip to the library to login and get them back. If I do nothing, a superslow Firefox will usually mean my laptop eventually restarts on its own. Then when I open Firefox I see a "Restore Session" option, which brings everything back (I think I see Restore Session because the computer did its own shutdown). So, this does work, but I have a slow computer until the laptop does its own restart. I am wondering if I can initiate my own Firefox Quit / Restart which will give me the "Restore Session" option. Firefox has always maintained that current tabs will be restored after a reboot of the browser, and indeed that was the case for the first half-dozen years I've been a subscriber. That has not been the case for the past 4 - 6 months however. I have the correct Settings for this, so it is not on my end. Why do I always get a fresh Firefox browser whenever I update the version (which is quite regular lately . . . maybe a new version of Firefox every 3 weeks). Please help.

Every once in a while, maybe once or twice a week, I'll press Cmd+L to highlight the address bar, type a URL for a new website, and press enter, and instead of going to that new website Firefox just reloads the current page. It seems that this happens exclusively when the current website is gmail.com. (I might be wrong) I can't remember it happening on any other website. This problem has been occurring for me for the past year at least. Any recommendations?

I change nothing in my settings and I am now on Dark background everywhere despite having: - forced the system settings (OS) to stay in light background - in about:preferences appearance I've manually selected (forced) the light background - in about:config I've tried to switch the browser.theme.content-theme to "1" (instead of "0")

I am not able to navigate websites per the ADA Accessibility requirements using my FireFox browser. I have tested the same websites in Chrome and the TAB key is working correctly, but in my instance of Firefox it does not. I have a colleague who tested the same website in their Firefox browser and they are not experiencing a problem navigating the website using their keyboard TAB key.
I am on a Mac with most recent FF installed. Colleague was on a PC and tested in FF.

When taking a screenshot with the built in screenshot tool, Firefox adds extra transparent space to the images on the right and bottom. I have tried in troubleshoot mode and the same thing happens.
I have attached the dialogue screen that pops up when I take a screenshot and here you can see the extra space added. I am very confused why this happens and it is really annoying as it makes this tool effectively useless.

At the moment I cannot see any of my old bookmarks all i have is the bookmarks that come with when you install firefox.
I am logged into firefox but i cannot see my old search history or find any of my old bookmarked folders.
Please help me, I thought firefox was looking after my bookmarks when i was logging in.

Hi. Everytime I'm looking for something on Google, my search is automatically redrressed to the Bing page through "clickcrystal.com". I cancelled Bing as a search engine from the Firefox list but I can't find "clickcrystal.com". I think it's a sort of malware. I also tried to find it through "CleanmyMac" but no results.
Can someone help me please?
