I am using Thunderbird email and I have set several signature using signature switch. I have in account settings to put my signature below my text but above the quoted text. When I click on 'Reply' or 'Forward', the initial signature is as it should be but when I click on signature switch to pick a signature and click on the one I want my signature then is put BELOW the quoted text??? It will not put it above the quoted text as I have set. How do I fix this problem?

Under "Settings" > "Files and Applications" > "Downloads", I have selected "Save files to [Downloads]" and I have set the tick mark in the box ("Always ask you where to save files"). See screenshot.

This setting used to work fine for many a year. However, some months ago - and ongoing - Firefox does no longer ask me where to save a downloaded file. This is very annoying indeed!

How can I fix this?

I am using Windows 10, Firefox 124.0 (64-bit).

When I try to log into my AMEX account with FF, nothing happens. The screen refreshes itself, but no log in, and no error or other kind of message. I have entered my User Name and Password manually and using Auto fill, no success.

This problem was posted in January 2020 and I have tried all of the solutions. I have cleared cookies and cache for ALL sites and cleared saved logins for Amex. Still does not work. I have tried logged in and incognito mode. Still doesn't work. I can log in on Chrome with no problems.

It was working fine a few days ago.

Long time user of TB. Have worked with a number of signatures over the years. I occasionally have the below problem. This time it has become quite frustrating.

I have pictures in my email signature.

I have recently moved folders for all of my data. I get it. I need to update the path information for the HTML (built in MS Word) file. I have done that.

The signature is there... the images are not. The borders around the images are there, the images are not.

I do not know what is blocking the images from coming through.

I have the same issure on another computer that I use. Though I have never been abale to ge the pictures to load on that system. Borders only.

Google is implementing new requirements for mail sent to Gmail account holders. Among other things, bulk mailers have to include certain new header information in emails that reference that the sender has implemented one-click unsubscribe.

Because I send out a newsletter to 40,000 subscribers using a separate mailing program, I have customized the headers there easily. But since I also send personal and/or single emails from Thunderbird using the same domain, I want to add a custom header so any individual emails from Thunderbird will also have the new header info and not be automatically deleted by Google/Gmail.

How can I add a customized header to emails I send from Thunderbird 115.4.1 to comply with Google's new requirements?

The lines I have to add are like this:

List-Unsubscribe-Post: List-Unsubscribe=One-Click List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:<MYNAME@MYDOMAIN.COM?subject=Unsubscribe&body=remove <a href="/en-US/kb/new?title=-Email-" class="new" title="Page does not exist.">-Email-

i need to add a wetransfer link in thunderbird html signature to allow clients upload files directly in my account.

I want to give them the wetransfer link with pre-filled title based on subject of email https://wetransfersupport.wetransfer.com/?title=EMAIL%20SUBJECT

Is there anything like {{SUBJECT}} to add in title parameter?

I have vision problems so i use enlarged text and color modifiers. The new mozilla thunderbird format SQUEEZES the text and shrinks it into HALF a screen. This is VERY difficult for me to even see… and navigat9ng thunderbirds menus has always been very difficult and not user friendly. Add to this the confusing reordering of emails received so that newer emails now stack UNDER older emails…. And its completely frustrating to find anything. I have to scroll down hunting for possible new emails burried down below dozens of others on a tiny scrunched window. PLEASE how do i change it back…. This is too difficult to function in………

Hello fine people, forgive me im a noob, first day kn thunderbird... I would like all of my email to show together from both of my Gmail accounts. In Gmail it available as "all mailboxes"

I see that when I search it searches all accounts, that's super cant do that on Gmail but I just cant figure out how to combine my inboxes so scanning the days mail is more easy the way I like it

Basically, you add a new CardDAV Address Book; and then use this link as the location https://www.googleapis.com/carddav/v1/principals/myemail@gmail.com/lists/default/ P.S I did change "myemail@gmail.com" to my actual email address.

It fetches contacts from Gmail but it won't upload contacts from TB to Gmail; which is what I need TB to do so that I can keep contacts synchronizes across multiple laptops. I only add contacts from TB and won't use Gmail to add new contacts.

Is there a something that I need to set within Gmail to get this to work or it is just not possible at the moment to synchronize in both directions?

In my account setup, under default identity, "Your Name" section, I have entered my first name. But when I apparently send out emails, my entire name is listed in the "from" bar.....

How can I prevent this from happening? I do not want my full name going out in any email(s).

Hi, When I use a shortcut for a bookmark (e.g., typing "yt" to activate my youtube search bookmark with URL set to "https://www.youtube . com/results?search_query=%s" and shortcut set to "yt") it opens in a new tab. I am in the habit of making a new tab before using a shortcut to search using a bookmark. How can I change the shortcut bookmark behavior to open in the same tab where i typed the query into the URL bar?

You can't change Firefox keybinds from within settings. Please can someone direct me to a resource that details each step in achieving this, without need to install an extension. Currently "Ctrl + Win + Left Arrow/Right Arrow" moves between tabs for me, however I use vertical tabs, so would like to use "Ctrl + Win + Up Arrow/Down Arrow" instead.

I am setting up a new mac computer (Mac book Air M3 with Sonoma 14.3). I have installed Video Download Helper. The icon appears in the Applications folder and the Dock, but not in the Firefox toolbar. How can I get the icon back? Many thanks.

I want to export mails only of a certain mail account (I have got 6). I would like not to export ALL accounts in ONE zip file but I want to have different zips. Is that possible? Why do I want that? I am active in 3 different organisations and I have a private account and - it can almost not be avoided - a google mail account. So when I look for a certain mail I know which zip I have to import and to look for it. Years ago I used MS outlook and I had the possibility to create archives as defined for each account and - if necessary and wanted - for each year. Is this also possible in Thunderbird? If yes HOW?
