Firefox is broken. For months now anytime I watch a Live stream on Youtube it freezes within seconds and acts like it's buffering. Internet connection is great. Same live streams work perfect on Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and others. Only Firefox browser is doing this.

The USPS website does not work properly with Firefox!! The Home page loads okay but there are multiple other issues with links not working. For instance all of the links under Quick Tools do not work except this one: https://www.usps.com/manage/po-boxes.htm. Other things don't work either.

Everything works fine that I tried with Google Chrome though! Please address soon.

When I try to add a link by using Ctrl + K, the email draft essentially crashes. If I click on the email that I was writing, it dings/chimes. The email that was in progress is gone. It cannot be changed, does (did) not save as a draft, and cannot be closed.

Other aspects of Thunderbird continue to work, and I can write a new email. However, to get rid of the email that was in progress, I need to shut down the app. Restarting the computer does not get rid of the problem.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I have a very good PC (5800X3D, 7900XT, 32GB DDR4 3600), but Firefox (either the normal, canary and nightly version) can't play smoothly any 4K video (like the Borderlands trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lU_NKNZljoQ ). 1440 and lower resolutions are fine, as are 4K videos on Chrome and Edge. FWIW, my CPU during 4K playback is barely used (1-2%), and my GPU's video codec (VCE) is used by around a third. Disabling HW accel makes things better, as it still stutters but it's (barely) passable. I already tried creating a new profile, but still it's the same.

Since Thunderbird updated to 115.7.0 yesterday, I can see message headers for new emails, but not the message content. Messages received before the update appear normally. When I click on a new message in the inbox, it will say "loading message . . . " , but then it does not actually load the message, and the message pane is entirely blank. Not getting any error messages. What do I need to do to get it to actually load the message?

I've noticed lately that my Firefox keeps freezing and hanging up at random periods for no apparent reason. I have very few plugins and it even happens with them all disabled and removed. I've tried resetting Firefox to default everything yet it makes no difference.

Also I can not clear history. I've tried multiple different clear history plugins but none of them work at all. And when I try the traditional way of clearing Firefox history the window pops up and then the entire browser just freezes while 'clearing' and never gives me back control, I have to force quit and restart to regain control. And then when I relaunch the history is still not cleared!

So aside from the constant lagging and lockups it seems that any attempt to delete history whether using the inbuilt function or adding plugins messes up the whole browser.

Googling this issue it seems others are having the exact same problem with Firefox and yet any suggested solutions (reset browser) don't seem to be working for may of them.. Or me.

I have a strong phone sd 870 and 6gb ram so need to put the blame on that.. but this browser keeps refreshing the webpage as soon as I leave to other apps.. yes I tried with no battery restrictions but didn't solve the problem

i have just downloaded Firefox and i go to open in and it flashes open an close immediately. the occurs every time that i open the program. i have reinstalled it multiple times to see if that's the issue, used the Microsoft store to download it, the website, i tried to get the beta that didn't help and i was just wondering what the issues was and wondering if you could. i looked in the error message folder as well and its empty.

Noticed my phone having terrible battery life, from battery usage you can see that Firefox is highly likely one of the main culprits. I have observed the same over a few days on the last two Firefox builds. I tried to update Mozilla Thunderbird to 115.5.0. Now I can not receive emails on my computer. The message I received said, Error: Platform version 115.4.0 is not compatible with version 115.5.0. How do I "return" to 115.4.0 so I can have access to emails on my computer? I can receive emails on my cell phone. Thank you.

Our small business uses Thunderbird as our email client for our Rackspace email servers. Recently, we've been randomly getting a pop-up to reenter the password to our email account, and we enter the correct password but it fails to login. We can be using thunderbird for half a day, and then the password prompt pops-up and we're unable to login.

This has caused our IP address to be restricted by our server company due to too many failed server attempts. We were able to contact our sever company to release the restriction, but the password prompt keeps happening. We have verified it is nothing on our sever, as we can login directly on our server webmail service, and on other browser based email logins (gmail). We have verified server settings, port numbers, etc.

It is only happening with one inbox, it's a general inbox that multiple (5-6) users access. What's going on here?

Ever since installing the latest Firefox update I can no longer access Microsoft Outlook - email. When I try I get the following in the search bar https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/. Then nothing

I can access my Onedrive account, no problem, but when I try to get to the email part I get the same search bar response. Then nothing.

Using MS Edge, no problem - all works fine.

I have cleared all temp i/net files, cookies etc

Any (simple!) ideas gratefully received

I'm facing a severe battery drain issue that occurs with all of the current Firefox versions for Android (Stable, Beta, Nightly). I have noticed that the problem mainly arises when I have played any type of video through the browser, such as a YouTube video or any auto-playing html video through a website. And I don't mean that the battery drain occurs WHILE I have the browser open, I mean in the background, after I have exited Firefox. I have also installed GSAM battery monitor with the necessary ADB battery stats permission given, and it seems that the "Video On" wakelock is always on with Firefox. It's like that the thread that plays the video has not stopped, even if I have force closed Firefox, and killed the video tab. For example, I'm attaching two screenshots from the battery monitor, where I have previously opened Firefox and played a video for like 15 seconds (see the "Audion On"), then immediately closed all the tabs and force closed the application. As you can see, the "Video On" has not stopped, like the "Audio On" wakelock, and continues to count (35 minutes). This may go on forever, such as if I leave the phone at night, I'll wake up the next day with Firefox video wakelock displaying something like 15 hours of playback (something that of course, is not true). The only way to stop the drain, is to restart the phone and not open Firefox.

Though, the issue may not even be related with video playback. I have read in the forums (like here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1432706) that other people are facing this issue as well, and worked around it by not using Firefox as the default browser. I have not tried it but, even if it works, this is not at all convenient.
