When playing a video on YouTube the video is choppy and drops around 2/3 of the frames. This happens on every video that I click on.

I have found that if I double tap to jump back 10 seconds in the video it will no longer drop frames and play smoothly, but if I change the playback resolution it returns to being choppy until jumping in the video again.

I am currently running the latest stable download from the play store, and my phone is a OnePlus 8t.

I really like this app. I always use it on desktop also but after a few last updates I noticed that battery usage of this app increased a lot and the percentage is very high. 1 hour screen time on youtube was 4% battery usage but on the firefox side it was 17 min / 11% battery usage. I always close the opened apps and I use deep sleep feature on my samsung device. And I forced to close the app. For now I stop using firefox for test purposes.

So i browse in private tab, find image and file i want to download. I download them, and few second after the tab is closed or i closing the app, the file delete itself. At best it stays for few minutes. Sometime it delete itself before i close the tab and open the gallery/file manager to check if they still there. Only resulted on me seeing they delete itself.

Hi, let me describe my problem:

I enabled pull to refresh gesture function and until recently it worked great. But I noticed odd behavior recently: To activate pull to refresh, one should "pull from top", right? But if I just drag from middle to top to just scroll through website, it refreshes as if I pull from top.

This happens only when I moved to new pages. For example, I clicked a post in reddit to open that post >> the post opens, I try to scroll the page to see post comments >> and boom the page refreshes. After that this won't happen in the same page.

I hope to find solution and currently disabled pull to refresh.

After I log in to Linked in I can not use profile or network pages, as it looks like some kind of semitransparent overlay is displayed above them, preventing me from interaction with the page. In the same time home feed is working fine. I tried disabling all extensions but no luck.

Hi, I have a problem with my firefox app. Everytime I play or skip a port of a video, it plays stuttering and return normal only If I rewind some second (if I pause it nothing change). Anyone knows why? Is there some way to solve this problem? I have deleted every data, cookies etc, every add-on and reinstalled the app but nothing changed. I also formatted every setting of my device but same result. Oh, also, this problem don't happen with other apps like gallery or chrome video (I hope bitrate doesn't cause problems).) .

In Samsung Galaxy M23 5G smartphone (SM-M236B/DS) with Android 14 and Firefox 123.1.0 when I go to https://translate.google.com and insert a phrase, for example "I want a table" (you can try any words you want, single word or phrase) I hear the words distorted. This is happening after about 3 or 4 times or more tries when I hit the little speaker icon and waiting to finish the vocal pronunciation each time. I can't remember if this happened in earlier versions of Firefox for Android. I installed most of known browsers for Android (Opera, Edge, Vivaldi, Brave) and none has this problem, even the Samsung browser. I installed other versions of Firefox for Android (Focus, Beta for testers, Nightly for Developers) and all of them have the same problem. Also, I uninstalled and installed the original Firefox and I did restart of smartphone and also I connected bluetooth headphones but same problem. Maybe you will not hear the distortion in that smartphone above and android 14 combination with the first try but you will hear it in next tries. I don't know if this is happening in other Samsung SMARTPHONES. I keep trying Firefox browser once in a while for many reasons such a giving it a try to see the improvements, to give it a chance to become my daily driving browser but small niggles such as below doesn't give confidence to make it a default browser.

In website gsmarena.com on mobile Firefox browser when you type in search field, while website tried to dynamically show all matching phone models to a letter that you just typed, browser and keyboard just starts to lag and freeze before it can accept any further input of letter typing. Don't have this issue with other browsers.

It is updated. When I'm on a website, like USPS and accessesed Informed Delivery, I tell Firefox to Add To Home screen so I can quickly access mail and packages coming today.

I'm recovering from a stroke and these lost shortcuts stored on my homescreen were vital to communicating with my doctors, therapists, outpatient rehab, hospitals, etc. I'm lost without them.

Seems to be a bug on Firefox on Android where the tabs don't show the right page. I haven't been able to track down exact steps to reproduce, but it happens regularly on my phone.

Few days ago I downloaded something, but canceled it from the notification. Now a notification with the headline "Downloads" and the file name below keeps popping up every half an hour or so, when Firfox is closed or in the background. I can't click on it and restart it.
