Hi there, Firefox on Android is unable to show a progress on files that is currently being downloaded. It does, show notification, and I can pause and cancel it from there, but the details are unknown, the progress bar doesn't tell how much bytes has been downloaded and when i press pause and resume, the state is horribly unknown, the progress becomes 0%, etc. What I want is that Downloads menu in three-dots menu must show this too, not only the files that has been downloaded.

I am unable to find a way to remove a single unwanted URL from the suggestions list on Firefox for Android. If the website I want to go to (and that I go to regularly) is called abcxyz, and I went to website abcdef once, Firefox will always try to autocomplete the URL to abcdef even though I do not want to go there again. I have found instructions for how to accomplish this on PC, but they can't be followed on a mobile device. I have tried deleting the cookies, etc. for the unwanted website and removing it from my history, but without completely clearing out all browsing data for all websites (which I do not want to do), I haven't been able to figure out how to remove a single unwanted URL.

Currently there's no way to import/export bookmarks from/to file, while in the desktop version it always has been possible. It seems Mozilla does not want this basic feature in mobile app, why? Many users are asking this since forever! Thank you

How do I synch Collections between all my mobile android devices? [I'm not using desktop now.] I have different Collections on each of my 2 tablets and my mobile phone. I would like to aggregate them unless there's a limit to how many Collections are allowed on a device's Firefox Homepage. thx!

I want Firefox to default to opening all links in firefox.

Whenever I click a link that is associated with a third party app, Firefox opens that app. It doesn’t happen in safari and it significantly hampers usability. (E.g. the IMDB app streams videos but doesn’t seem to actually show information about the shows, so to easily access it, you need the actual site to open, not the app.) I would like to disable this feature and have everything open in the browser, the way it does in safari. How do I do this?

By default, pages are in mobile view mode. The desktop mode button doesn't apply to all pages and it is not permanent.

Can you please move this to settings with a permanent desktop mode on/off switch that applies to ALL & future pages?

I've noticed a large increase in ads in Firefox for iOS. Seems like it started about 6 months ago. The worst is Google ads that overlay functional parts of a website. Example is the home page and 10 day forecast page of wunderground.com.

The problem is definitely in Firefox. Firefox Focus doesn't suffer from these ads.

Problem: keyboard covers text area in chat and scroll does not function. In a chat with customer service usually, the text I am writing does not appear, it is behind the keyboard and scroll is frozen. I have to close the keyboard to see the text, also scroll works. Then I click on my partially filled text box, keyboard comes back covering it, no scroll. Repeat. Pixel 6, FF for Android, T-mo, Ad-Guard only addon, everything updated, see attached.

When Adding a Shortcut to the Android Home Screen, it allows you with a pop-up option to Rename the Shortcut before placing it on your Home Screen.

However, when attempting to Install a Progressive Web App (from compatible Web App web sites), and clicking Install, it does NOT give you the opportunity to Rename the Shortcut.

In contrast, Chrome/Android allows the name change in both cases (non-Web App and Web App sites).

Is this feature in the works on FireFox Android?

Is there a work-around to Rename Shortcuts either before or after placing them on the Home Screen ?

Why is there no bookmarks toolbar for Firefox IOS? This makes the program useless to me. Is there any way to create and see bookmarks? None of the answers in the forums are of any help. What you tell me I should see I don’t see.

I’ve used Firefox for years because I support non-corporate efforts like this, but the lack of quick access to create and use bookmarks is a deal-breaker for me.

I recently updated the Firefox app on my iPhone through the App Store. When I re-opened the app all my previous (many) tabs were closed. There’s no option to restore the session and while I still have history of “closed tabs” it doesn’t actually show the tabs the were closed as a result of the update, just the tabs I had closed before the update occurred. Since I’ve had some tabs open for a long time and I open and close tabs very often looking through my entire history isn’t a very viable solution. Is there some other way to restore my previous session like there is in browser?

I’ve never had an issue like this before on my laptop/windows. Thank you for your help.
