Hi, i just got a new laptop (Asus Zephryus G16, 2560 x 1600 screen) and after installing Firefox there is a thin white border to the left of the screen when running in fit screen. This problem is not present when in a windowed mode or in F11 full screen.

I tried updating the Intel Arc drivers but this did not fix the problem. Changing to compatibility mode also did not fix te problem.

PS: in the uploaded screenshots it is quite dificult to see the white line(because the background is also white), but when the image is viewed in a new tab it is visible.

My Firefox browser is up to date but I cannot log on to my Bank website. As soon I enter my Logon info I get logged out, however I can access the site using MS EDGE. This is a recurring problem. The website recognizes Firefox as an valid browser. Occasionally I have been able fix problem by clearing the browser Cookies/History but at present none of that works. Do you have any suggestions? My preferred browser is Firefox so this problem is frustrating.

I have language set to English (GB) but am being constantly annoyed with words like "colour" being underlined as badly spelt. Why aren't you using an English (GB) dictionary?

I am having a very frustrating problem that is driving me huts.

Just the other day I was commenting in a text box like this one and I hit caps lock on my keyboard and a little grey box I had never seen before appeared with a locked lock. Then when I hit caps locks again on my keyboard an unlocked locked appeared in the little grey box. But it stays in cap locks and no matter what I do it won't go back to lower case. And when I say nothing shuts it off I mean its doing that on every site I try to comment on. Shutting down the browser does not help. And the only way I can get caps lock off is to actually shut down my whole computer and basically start all over.

You community volunteers are the best and quickest help I can get so I went straight to you for help.

This screen displays brackets in the corners defining the corners of a square in the middle of the screen. You cannot pinch it to make it larger or smaller or smaller. If you scroll up on the windows it closes Mozilla. The only way to get rid of it to use the browser normally is to reboot my Samsung phone.

Computer crashed. After restoring, Google calendar is not syncing. No error message that I can see. I unsubscribed and resubscribed to no avail. I have no clue what to look for and searching here is not helping as all the references to this are years old. Can someone help me figure out why this is happening?

As I mention above that we have different ecommerce products which we only want to sell in Qatar but we are getting some other countries traffic like USA, Pakistan, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, so how we can block these countries or anything in Google Search Console which help to keep the website with country specific?

Is there any specific Mozilla Firefox extension that you recommend or any HTML code help to block other country traffic?

I had to delete and add back several accounts due to a change in servers (cox.net to yahoo.com). Prior to this I just had the All Folders, Local Folders and below. Now I have the Unified Folders and below, which are essentially a duplicate of the folders in the old All Folders. (See attached image) Not only is it making things confusing but I'm storing duplicate emails and it seems to be affecting performance, Thunderbird now randomly quits and restarts. So, how do I delete either the All Folders or the Unified Folders and move the few sub folders that are unduplicated into the remaining group?

Normally when you starting to write a new email, Thunderbird will set the 'from' address to the address of the account whose mailbox you're current browsing.

However, I have a saved search that entirely contains email from my secondary (work) account, but if I start a new email while browsing it, it picks my default (home) email address. This has caused me to accidentally send emails from the wrong address more than once!

Is there any way to change it so that it'll set the 'from' field of new emails to my work email when browsing that specific saved search?

I updated to 115.10.1 a few days ago and would like to roll back to what I had before.

Is there a way to do that?

And is there a file that has the version number in it? I would like to look in a system backup to find out the version number that I had last week.

At one time, I was able to swipe left on my trackpad and go back to the previous page on firefox. I can't seem to find where to set that preference. I'm running MacOS.

I have 6 accounts on cox.net and today in two out of the 6 accounts, emails that I send are not saved and I get a message "Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors. The "sent" folders for these two accounts are grayed out. I have verified that the account settings have the right folder as the destination for the sent emails and have checked that all emails should be saved. I also get a message in Thundebird -The current command did not succeed. The mail server for account xxxxx responded [TRYCREATE} Mailbox doesn't exist. Mail goes out but no copy is saved. Only two out of 6 accounts are affected and I didn't do anything to them before this started happening.

In our company, we have recently updated Thunderbird from version 52.3.0 to 115.9.0. Now we have a problem with href links containing file URIs in our messages. We often receive file links pointing to files in our local intranet, which look like this: <a href="file://///intranet.local/dfs/output/movie.mp4" class="moz-txt-link-freetext" moz-do-not-send="true">movie.mp4</a> Up to Thunterbird version 98.0b3 it was possible to open these files by simply clicking the link. But since version 99.0b1 file links don't open any more. Instead, the error console displays the following message: Security Error: Content at mailbox:///C:/Users/username/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/profilename/Mail/Local%20Folders/Inbox?number=12345 may not load or link to file://///intranet.local/dfs/output/movie.mp4. Fortunately, it is possible to open the link with "Open Link In Browser" from the context menu. But we would like to get rid of this extra click. Consequently, when I follow these steps, file links still don't open in an external application. Instead, they open inside of Thunderbird which is not the desired effect. To put my question in a nutshell: How can I open file links by left-clicking on them, just the way they open, when I right-click on them and select "Open Link In Browser"?

Steps to reproduce: On a Windows computer create a new mail. Press Ctrl-K to insert a link. Enter the following path with username replaced by your windows logon name: file:///C:/Users/username/Documents Save and close the mail. Watch the mail in the drafts folder. Click the link. Nothing happens, but you can see a message in the error console. Right click the link and select "Open Link In Browser". This opens your windows explorer.

Any solution is welcome, even if it's potentially insecure, since our computers don't have any internet access and we can receive internal mail only.

Since last update, Reminders pop up window will not close as before when the reminders are all cleared. Have too manually close the window. Saw this was an issue many versions ago that seemed to be cleared after an update. I could find no way to "fix" the issue. Is this a new bug?

I recently purchased a new laptop and needed to migrate my old Thunderbird profiles. This is what I did: 1. Backed up profiles from old laptop 2. downloaded and installed latest version of Thunderbird on new laptop 3. coped profiles into \roaming directory 4. tested and successfully received emails and viewed all old emails.

The problem is that the Mail toolbar is nowhere to be found. Also, the calendar is missing. I tried right clicking on empty space and it only showed "menu bar" as an option. Attachment shows nothing in the toolbars option of View dropdown.

I don't like getting recommendations in Pocket that you need a subscription to read. Why waste my time giving me the initial information on something, but then when I try to read it, I can't because I already have too many subscriptions. Seems like there used to be an option besides "Dismiss" to not show content from particular sites?
