Hello:

I use Thunderbird for work. I have several email accounts configured in it, including Gmail, my company's email, and Outlook. I recently added a new Outlook account, and I haven't been able to send a single message. The error I'm receiving is the one described in the title. It's worth noting that I have another Outlook account working perfectly. I've tried every solution I've found online, and none of them have worked, including enabling SMTP in the account settings, making sure OAUTH is enabled, using smtp.outlook.com or smtp.office365.com instead of smtp.mail.outlook.com, enabling two-factor authentication, changing my password multiple times, etc.

I have a message filter that copies every sent item to a local folder when I send it. I want this in addition to the normal sent item placed in the IMAP folder.

This works fine, except that when I reply to an email and the subject is prepended with "Re: ", the copy made in the local folder is not prepended with "Re: ".

Why is this, and how can I make sure the copy in local folders is prepended with "Re: " as it is in the IMAP sent folder?

On my PC Thunderbirds sending/receiving mail says the mail server refused my connection. My laptop works fine. I have duplicated my laptops in/out specifications onto the PC but still nothing works. Spectrum says everything on their end is fine but can't vouch for roadrunner who is the rr in my mail address of ca.rr.com. All this started about 4 days ago. Any ideas on what to try next? Thanks.

I just read a PC World article concerning extensions containing malware. AdBlock was listed and I've been using the extension for some time. Are you aware of this issue? Is the extension available viz Firefox setting/extensions in question. Should I remove it?

I just upgraded (reluctantly) to Win11 on my desktop, and my POP Thunderbird account did not survive the upgrade. I had to switch over to a new IMAP Thunderbird, losing all of my POP folders (which are still on my disk). Just not, apparently, accessible.

Anyone have info on how to re-access or somehow get them into my IMAP install?

After running cc cleaner and even that i de select the book mark and side setting the Firefox Bookmars and history is non functional . i did create a new profile yesterday biut today i have the same Issue. I uninstalled CC CLeaner but i want to restore my Bookmarks system i need help with that. the explanation here are not really helpful

Looking at the screen, which identity does everybody think this message is going out as?

We observe those three possibilities. See the first image. Apparently the first possibility is the one that is chosen. I'm talking about just an email address with no name.

Okay, in the second image it turns out it was not the first possibility that was chosen it was the second possibility.

However at the bottom of the screen again we see it seems to be saying it was the first possibility.

No I'm not saying I ever expected it to be the first possibility. I'm just saying that this needs all to be 150% more clearer.

With the latest update to Firefox, 147.0.1, our test suites run with the extension, Selenium IDE, has errors, "Failed:n.createEvent(...).initKeyEvent is not a function". I am running the latest version of Selenium IDE. Installing the previous version of FF has no errors. What is the solution?

All of a sudden today yahoo will not load I am able to load fine with edge I keep trying and sometimes it will partially load..I've used firefox for years along with yahoo wth zero issues..please help I have cleared browsing history etc to no avil

Thunderbird changes the from email AFTER email sent so user sees email from wrong sender, This since recent update. I have used Thunderbird for many years and have never had this issue before. I've tried fixes on the internet but they don't seem to work.

In the older K-9, when one changed the active account, the inbox for the newly selected account would just be shown immediately. No need for any other operations on my part.

Now I have to tap on the inbox to get there. This seems an awful nuisance and offers little to anyone, I suspect.

Is there some way to get the old K-9 behavior?

In V.10, it used to be I had to really swipe all the way left for delete to occur.

Now in V.13 only a small/partial movement deletes.

This is tool easy to mis-trigger. Please go back.

When I start Firefox on Windows it does not open all the Windows it had last time even though that option is selected in settings. It seems random on which Windows open.

Then I start one Window at a time and restore my tabs from bookmarks. Once I have done that I have all the Windows in the order I want, with the tabs I want.

Then for no apparent reason some of the Windows disappear and/or the Windows change order. This is very frustrating.

How do I get Firefox to always open the Windows in the correct order and keep them displayed in that order?

  Firefox is currently my "default" browser.  I am running the most current updated Firefox browser.  I am using a desktop iMac with OS of Tahoe 26.1     
  It appears since the latest few updates (on Firefox) over the last week or so, I can no longer log in to my online banking.  I am able to enter my username and password (I'm using the 1Password app on this desktop and my iOS).  After entering my username and password, the progress wheel just spins and spins and nothing further happens.  The screen just sits there and does not progress to the next webpage allowing entry to my banking.  I know that it is a problem with the Firefox browser.   When I log in to my online banking using Chrome, I have no issues, it logs right in.  
  What is going on?   Please advise.  I'm thinking about ditching Firefox and going with Chrome or Safari.

I have thunderbird installed on my android phone and my Dell laptop. I want to be able to sync my email accounts so I don't have to delete all my emails in both places. My laptop does not give me the IMAP option, only POP3. Thanks for any advise!!

As usual on forums, none of the subject choices exactly fit my situation/problem, so I apologize for any unintended misdirection.

How do I uninstall Privacy Badger. It's been disabled, but not uninstalled. Please be specific as to keystrokes, screens, boxes, location of item. Many instructions tend to overuse computer jargon or common industry synonyms used daily within their sphere, which a laymen cannot easily translate, and often raise more questions than they answer. I started my computer bookmarks and password were gone. I can't find them in profiles or I don't know where to find them in profiles. I need this stuff obviously. It takes me forever to reset everything. What if anything can I do?
