FFox OS crashes after starting a game (4 tried), checking for system updates, opening call log - anything really.

As it says in the title - after starting an app it runs for a couple of seconds, then the screen gets brighter and the phone restarts, showing the animated fox and my operator's logo.

by the way, combined with the call log bug, i have a glorified door stop...what a way to disappont a fanboy :(

Hi aethel,

I'm sorry your Firefox OS device is crashing repeatedly. Can you tell me the device make and model you have, coutry where you bought it and the exact error message you see when it crashes (if one appears at the bottom of the screen?).

Well, you took my rant nicely - thanks, made me chuckle this morning :P :D

It's a Alcatel OneTouchFire, got it in Poland. I can't remember the exact message, but I'm pretty sure it was something generic, just informing me that the system crashed. The message with the report button doesn't show up always too.

I did try to report it over the phone, but it restarts whenever I press the report button. Yesterday for example I left it to see what happens with the call log bug (whether it gets to 100%) and it restarted twice, on its own.

It all started happening after the latest firmware update.

Hi Aethel,

Thanks for this additional information. We have a bug on file that could be this same issue, are you able to go into Device Information and tell me what the complete revision number shows? That would help out, sorry again for this inconvenience.
