Is this a common problem? I cannot get it to work. It'll constantly crash. As a last resort I wonder if this is a common experience or whether I have a dodge SD card?

Chosen solution

I had the occasional mishap there as well. I put in a different micro SD card and that seems to have fixed the problem. The same happened with an epub reader app. With the first SD card, i could not load books, but with the new one I could. So, try a different card.

Good to know. May have dodge SD? Have ordered another brand.

EDIT: Dodgy SD card was causing system wide instability not limited to music, with mostly all apps freezing then crashing.
