My JavaScript isn't working.

I can't get my JavaScript to work. I went into my settings and the checkmark was there. I unchecked it closed the browser then reopened it. I went back to settings and rechecked the box, closed browser then reopened it and reopened my Hotmail and tried clicking on the website inside the email and it told me to turn on my JavaScript. Still didn't work. Is there a special download that I can use. I'm running Firefox for Android, I'm using a Acer 100 tablet. Thank You, Brian Ambrose.
