Firefox 17.0.1 excessive CPU load from Ebay search results page

Doesn't matter what the search is for, CPU spikes to about 100% and stays there. Disabling javascript will cure the problem but then the pages don't work properly. Safe mode "on" doesn't cure the problem.

Anyone else experiencing this problem ? Solutions ?
