You might like to Google your "Fun Web Products", a frequent troublemaker(associated with the MyWebSearch toolbar), and see at least part of the answer to your problems.

A lot of things besides Firefox are being updated and new conflicts and culprits can emerge.

when I downloaded ff 5 , they also said hoe easy the uninstall was ,,,still can't find it .. Probably just more b.s. from them..

Sorry, I didn't answer. I've been to bed. As Helper 7677 illustrates, you remove it like any other software program on your computer. In XP> Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Select Firefox>Uninstall.
