Have downloaded the Beta 4 version but unlike in your ad no panorama bar has appeared to manage tabs, or wikipedia bar. Do I have to add these manually

For Panorama, see View > Tab Groups (Shift+Ctrl+E)

Do you mean the search bar on the Navigation toolbar?

There's no "view" menu either.

If the menu bar is hidden then press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
