Hi, I am pretty hopeful about the new FF with GeckoView. Using it for a bit it seems pretty good, but there are a few issues (79.1.0-beta.1)

First of all, there have been some layout issues, particularly noticeable on Twitter (I do not use apps where a viable mobile site exists). On Twitter, if I press the "retweet" icon it has a little slider that comes up from the bottom with options to just retweet or retweet with comment. In this version, but not in 68.11.0, that slider jitters up and down a bit. Usually if you scroll up or down slightly it then stabilizes, but even then it can be hard to hit the correct option, as if the visual and the interaction area are not quite aligned.

Aside from that there are some UI/UX issues.

On site where there are apps available (bing, twitter, FB, others), FF puts a blue dot notification badge on the triple dot dropdown menu, if you open it it will have an item to "open in app" or "download app" (depending on if installed or not). I don't mind the menu item being there, even though I almost never want it, but I need a way to turn off that blue dot - all such notification badges are very distracting to me, I either respond to them right away (e.g. messages) or I turn them off totally.

The other big issue is tabs, the newer tab layout wastes far too much space, the one in FF 68 was much better... and though I mostly hate taking UI direction from Chrome, mobile tabs is one rare case of them doing it well. Either of those layouts would be much better than the FF79 tab layout.

Oh, and just to make sure... whatever you do, please don't get rid of the option to put the address on the top, I really need that one. I hate to use a Blink browser, but I *will* switch if the URL bar is forced to the bottom.
