I have youtube on my tv screen, but it won't let me sign in anywhere. Just keeps showing logo. Fullscreen. I'm trying to get y/tube on my tv

I have a smart tv and the apps that I have chosen work well except youtube. When I press app it comes on with the youtube logo w/the black background and white arrow on a red background. It does nothing when I press controls on my remote. Just sits there giving me the finger. How can I access y/tube with my smart tv app? Inquiring minds want to know. Thank you

Are you trying to view YouTube through Firefox for Fire TV?
