I have a trouble with bookmark folder organization on Firefox, which is synchronized between a Windows PC and an Android tablet.

The bookmarks created on my Firefox account are all put in [All Bookmarks]-[Mobile Bookmarks], using the "Show All Bookmarks" view on the PC. These bookmarks are organized in a hierarchical structure into a number of subfolders, and they are all synced to the tablet. The order of the bookmarks and folders are manually adjusted according to my preference, so that more frequently used ones show up higher on the screen.

The problem is like this: When I do any of the following operations to a folder on this view, that folder inadvertanly jumps to the top of the screen on the synced tablet, although it stays in the same location on the PC:

- Move a bookmark to a folder - Move a bookmark out of a folder - Move a bookmark position within a folder - Move a subfolder to a folder - Move a subfolder out of a folder - Move a subfolder position within a folder

For example, suppose folders are arranged in the following order at first:

- Folder 1 - Folder 2 - Folder 3

If I move a bookmark or subfolder into Folder 3 from somewhere else, the order on the tablet changes to the following after cyncing:

- Folder 3 - Folder 1 - Folder 2

The order on the PC view does not change, though. The same happens if I move a bookmark or subfolder out of Folder 3 to somewhere else, or move bookmark or subfolder order within Folder 3.

My environment is like this:

[PC] Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 Firefox Version 56.0.2 (64-bit)

[Tablet] Android 4.4.1 Build number 01.01.06 Baseband version 1.00 Kernal version 3.4.0 build@Sharp #3 Firefox 58.0.1
