Using the tab key is not autocompleting code tags in thimble even though I have autocomplete turned on.

In Thimble and in Sublime text, the tab key no longer autocompletes tags in HTML. For example, typing in h1 then pressing the tab key, puts an actual tab into the HTML code. Furthermore, h1 appears in Thimble's preview screen. Autocomplete and autoclose are both on, turning them off changes nothing. This happened after a mandatory Windows restart. Also, I was trying out some keyboard shorcuts, i.e. ctrl+shift+D, etc., so this may have turned off a function but I have no idea where to start to reverse the process.
