How to sync Gmail contacts with phone (able to import, unable to sync), Contacts load very slowly when I search.
I am unable to sync my contacts with my Gmail account as in android. Secondly, when I search contacts in te contact app to make a call, the search result takes time to load. I want search reasults to be dispalyed fast. Further, Is their any way to deleate temporaty system files from the phone, as I done in my desktop to speedup its performance. When ever I try to check for updates error massage is displayed saying - Their was an error when cheking for updates. The phone details I am using:- Phone Model:- Intex cloud fx Software:- Intex_cloud_FX_V07

Hmm OK I poked around the contacts menu and I see there is an import contacts button there. I assume sync is like importing and exporting over and over. So it can be done just not automated at the moment.

My first guess for the app responsiveness is to check the Application storage available in the Firefox OS settings. The Intex device does not have alot of internal storage.
Second I might make sure that there are no duplicate entries in your Gmail Contacts. This can be done by merging them from a computer with these instructions: https://support.google.com/mail/answe.../165334?hl=en

Dear guigs, Thanks for your kind responce. How to check application storage available in the Firefox OS. Thier are nearly 700+ contacts in the app. Now I shall work on to find duplicate entries. Is their any way to deleate temporary system files from the phone, as I done in my desktop to speedup its performance.

Not sure if you figured this out already but in the settings menu at the bottom there is a developer option. Scroll to the bottom of that at find the "launch first time use" I think that will eventually give you the option to import contacts.

This feature works well in android. Is thier no such provision in Firefox OS. If it is thier, how can I use it. Please explain.
