Copy/paste functionality is only available from version 2.2 of Firefox OS, if you are using this version or higher, then you have to do a long touching on the urk and then copy/paste functions appear

If you are using an OS <= v2.2 try a copy/paste keyboard "App" from Marketplace. It's not perfect, but sometimes it is working on my Alcatel.
